Research Assistant

We are recruiting a full-time Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator, Associate Professor Natasha Howard, in the implementation and administration of research projects in the areas of health equity, infectious disease control, and global health.

Responsibilities:
The research assistant will focus on research and administration in infectious disease control policy and health system strengthening in the Asia region. This will include:
• Supporting qualitative and quantitative research, including contributing to design, implementation, analysis, and write-up of journal manuscripts and reports/policy outputs.

Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer

Work Location: Downtown Core, Singapore

Job Type: 1 year contract, subject to renewal

About the Job

The Junior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as managing the Kubernetes clusters.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.

· Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize CI/CD workflows and ensure smooth software releases.

· Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and address performance bottlenecks or issues.

· Work closely with software engineers to integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines.

· Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

· Implement best practices for container orchestration, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.

· Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents related to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes infrastructure.

· Any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

· Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

· Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

· Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Required to undergo Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) checks.
