Responsibilities :

· Responsible for processing of customers' orders, managing inventory vis-à-vis customers’ demands.

· Perform purchasing functions to maintain seamless supply chain from orders to arrival of goods ;

• Resolve customer complaints in respect of quality, delivery requests and quantity,
• Handle accounts queriess, billing, cancellations, and other queries;
• Provide pricing and obtain delivery information;
• Follow up on shipping schedule;
• Organize workflow to meet customer time requirements;
• Manage customers' accounts in respect of receivables;
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments, shipping companies, forwarders and external vendors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or a discipline in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical or related discipline.

Job Description

• Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for piping systems, ensure proper pipe support design based on piping loads, thermal expansion, and seismic considerations.
• Identify appropriate materials, ensure material compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and local regulations.
• Work closely with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure piping systems are integrated seamlessly with other systems
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of piping systems
• Prepare piping-related project deliverables including technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs
• Liaise with suppliers for quotation and technical evaluation of quotation. Review and approve piping construction drawings, isometrics, and support drawings
• Lead piping design reviews, coordination meetings, and vendor technical discussions
• Manage piping engineering scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring project milestones are met

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Piping Engineering
• For degree holder, minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and engineering. For Diploma holder, minimum 8 years of experience is required.
• For senior position, candidate must have at least 10 years of experience, including leadership or project management experience.
• Strong expertise in piping materials, piping arrangement, stress analysis, and design of piping systems
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects

Job Description:

• Day-to-day customer service and procurement activities - Responsible for managing daily customer service operations and manage entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Demand planning - Work closely with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand accurately.
• Production Planning - Collaborate with Operations team to develop production schedules and optimize the production planning that align with demand forecasts.
• Inventory Management - Work within the team to implement robust inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, taking proactive measures to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Logistics Coordination - Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
• Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers and customers. Develop good vendor management with warehouse personnel for effective inventory control.
• Licensing - Manage all license requirements for Import/Export & transportation with compliance to Government Authority of Singapore.
• Collaboration and Communication - Work with product management team to review product specification/technical data. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by Team leader / Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 Years of working experience in a related field.
• Preferably with related experience in Chemical Distribution/ Semiconductor industries.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and ideally proficient in Chinese (in order to negotiate and handle queries with overseas Mandarin speaking suppliers/vendors in regards with the import & export shipment arrangement matters).
• Hands on experience using SAP/Navision system, strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be an advantage.
• Experience in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
• Ability to prioritize workload, make systematic decisions under pressure.

The role provides the opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of products and innovative reinsurance solutions in diverse Asia Pacific markets. The candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our Global Life Financial Solutions team, and the wider enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life & Health propositions. 

About the role:

Your core mission is to strategically develop and price Structured Solutions whilst supporting new capital motivated solutions to grow PartnerRe’s revenue in the Asia Pacific region.

Additional responsibilities to include:

• Develop and price reinsurance solutions that faciliate risk transfer, specifically tailored for in-force portfolio transfers.
• Technical development of pricing tools to analyze risk and profitability of life reinsurance solutions.
• Contribute to the deal execution involving responding to RFPs, negotiating terms with clients, and prepare internal approval reports
• Develop a high profile within L&H APAC business establishing regular contact with stakeholders and decision makers.
