We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to lead our ICAAP, Resolution and Recovery Planning, MAS637 (Basel III) reporting team. JOB SCOPE

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1 To provide administrative and logistical support to Therapy Hub; including the initiating and coordinating of the clerical and logistical functions required in the effective implementation of Therapy Hub administrative policies.

1.2 To collate and maintain Therapy Hub required statistics for the purpose of reporting, submission and audits. This will include working with standard and advanced spreadsheets, databases and word-processing software and documents.

Reporting to the Security & Safety Manager, the incumbent is to ensure the safety and security of associates, guests and items in the hotel, and must always maintain the highest standards of security for all concerned while adhering to standards required by the Hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure only associates on duty are allowed to enter the hotel premises
• Ensure that no ex-associate enter the hotel premises without the approval of the Human Resource Manager or Security Manager
• Report and detain any hotel associate other than those authorized to be on the floor.

• Ensure any vehicle coming into the loading/unloading bay area are properly parked so as not to cause any traffic congestion/obstruction
• Perform prowler duty on guest floors
• Stop unauthorized person(s) from entering guest rooms or loiter along the corridors of the guest floors
• Ensure all guestroom doors are properly locked and secured
• Ensure all floor pantries, risers are locked/closed and secured
• Ensure all fire extinguishers and fire hoses are in good working order
• Ensure all fire warning system (break-glass, sprinkler valves, smoke detectors) are in proper working condition
• Ensure that the fire emergency doors and staircase are not obstructed
• Prevent any form of soliciting by prostitutes or pimps
• Keep a close watch on people loitering in the vicinity of the guest lift lobby, and approach all suspicious characters. Politely enquire as to their purpose of being in the area. If they are non-guest or merely visitors, refer them to the Front Desk
• Stay alert and monitor the CCTV monitors constantly for any unexpected incident
• Ensure that the keys used on daily basis (eg. store, pantry keys, etc.) are accounted for and movement of these keys are properly recorded in the relevant logbook
• Record all relevant information (feedback) received from the Duty Manager in the Log Book.
• Monitor the lift system and report any malfunctioning to Engineering Department immediately
• Well versed with procedures relating to fire emergency and evacuation
• Ensure smooth traffic flow with no vehicle causing obstruction along the driveway
• Prevent any suspicious characters from loitering at the driveway.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time by the Security & Safety Manager

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• GCE ‘O’ Level
• Possess a valid Security licence and preferably with experience in Hotel safety and security

• Order Processing: Oversee the order processing cycle from receipt of the order to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Work closely with Operations to understand bottlenecks and propose short and long-term fixes.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate weekly/monthly sales reports and analytics to track performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes. Understand the customers’ needs in terms of reporting and align with IT teams to tailor the solution.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, finance, IT and logistics teams to ensure coordinated efforts in meeting customer needs and achieving sales objectives.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and support the sales team in strategic planning. Share market updates and news with the relevant customers.

SIA has multiple positions for generative AI/deep learning experts to drive our AI and data science initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Member of the in-house AI Center-of-Excellence team that works on challenging problems in advanced AI (including areas on generative multimodal AI, autonomous agent, NLP, computer vision, recommender system), mathematical optimization, game theory, and experimental design.
• Research and develop advanced machine learning algorithms to meet complex product requirements. The scope includes defining hypotheses, executing necessary tests and experiments; evaluating, tuning and optimizing algorithms and methods; and having an eye towards cloud implementation ease, scalability, and robustness in a live customer facing production environment.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to a small and highly skilled team of junior and senior data scientists embedded in Kanban data squads. These squads deliver products/services in generative AI, data science and data analytics to stakeholders in a large number of business units. Serve as a go-to technical expert in your area of AI expertise.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to create impactful and intelligent features/products. Collaborate with other team members including data scientists, data engineers and data strategists. Strategic ownership of all critical end-to-end AI processes.
• Administer/maintain performant cloud and on-premises GPU compute resources that train large ML models and provide inference API microservices in production.

Requirements

• PhD degree related to computer science, machine learning or other AI disciplines is required (consideration will be given to exceptional candidates without advanced degrees).
• Demonstrated intellectual firepower as a rapid problem-solver and tech lead.
• Advanced programming skills in Python. Strong technical skills in algorithm design/analysis, data structure and SQL. At least intermediate-level mastery of functional/object-oriented software development using modern programming languages such as Scala, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java or C# is a must.
• Hands-on proficiency in the use of workflow/map-reduce and stream processing systems such as Spark and Kafka for big-data processing.
• 3 or more years of relevant industry experience as a hands-on technical expert in shallow and deep machine learning, with additional specializations in most of the following areas:

1. Experience in the use of recent proprietary/open-source LLM APIs (such as OpenAI GPT-4, Anthropic Claude 2, Google PaLM 2, or Meta LLaMA 2); software development skills involving multi-agents and prompt engineering using LLM application/data frameworks (such as LlamaIndex and LangChain).
2. Highly conversant with GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch and TensorFlow).
3. Demonstrated ability in rapidly adapting, training and deploying state-of-the-art AI models or services in production based on the latest published research papers and open-source code.
4. Familiarity of Bayesian statistics/inference and Bayesian/causal networks for probabilistic reasoning.

• Significant hands-on experience of AWS, Azure, GCP or other public cloud environment.
• Excellent mentoring, interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical staff and non-technical business users.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies is a plus.
