Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise sub contractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material and samples
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors or clients on shop drawings, materials and samples
• Review and align electrical design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Knowledge in M&E and able to identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions
• Manage and execute project as per the deadline
• Attend meeting with contractors to address issues and update progress
• Study and review drawings, specifications for compliance
• Allocate work and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP
• Submit Variation Works costing, taking BQ and understand contract specifications

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage a portfolio of corporate secretarial clients, and ensure statutory books are in order and updated for the company’s portfolio of clients.
• Handle full spectrum of company secretarial duties, including the incorporation of new legal entities, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Companies Act and other relevant laws
• Liaise with, advise clients, and prepare the necessary documents on entity formation, entity statutory administration, work passes, and other related matters
• Attend to routine of officers, share transfer and allotment, updating registers and minute book etc.
• Perform customer due diligence for on boarding and on-going monitoring
• Liaise and respond to clients’ requests and queries regarding corporate secretarial matters.
• Assist to remind clients on deadline of holding Annual General Meeting for their portfolio of clients.
• Follow-up with client on the return of documents and forms and ensuring submission of statutory forms and documents to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and IRAS within the stipulated deadline.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably of minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial work
• Training provided for fresh graduates / entry level
• Must have good computer skills especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF editor
• Positive working attitude with strong initiatives and a team player
• Detail oriented and able to multitask
• Organized, meticulous and result-oriented personality who is willing to learn and improve
• Holding or currently pursuing corporate secretarial qualifications would be advantageous

The Role

The role reports into the Client Services Manager, who manage PL Re Asia Client Services within the Operations team.

The Client Services team is responsible for data management, accounts processing and managing internal as well as external client relationship. Additionally, there are exciting challenges ahead with the introduction of a new project involving back-office unification and standardization. There are opportunities for global exposure and a chance to work with other business units across various locations.

The role is varied and dynamic, and there are several different projects and ad-hoc pieces of work you may be involved with, for example:

• Fully understand the treaty and client's data for effective in-force treaty management
• Perform necessary validation checks on data, manage error handling to reconcile and book statement of accounts in a timely manner
• Develop various business object reports for regular validation of accounts and controls
• Process improvements, and developing and improving reporting/MI methods
• Manage client relationship through regular engagement including face to face meetings, annual reviews etc.
• Manage Internal stakeholders like actuarial functions, finance etc by validating all key reports before sharing with various internal stakeholders and highlight any issues with the client data or extraordinary data trends
• Perform internal controls pertaining to the above processes, including Anti-money laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) controls
• Provide inputs and requirements to drive treaty implementation.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background who can quickly learn new skills, but who will also challenge and improve the existing processes.

The team works closely together and with other teams in the Asia Business Unit including Finance, Actuarial functions, Pricing and Marketing. A collaborative and proactive attitude is therefore a must for the role.

Essential Qualifications & Expertise

• A sound knowledge of Insurance/Reinsurance or any other financial institutions administration practices and principles.
• Aptitude for managing data and analysis with advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets (~1mil records).
• Knowledge of basic coding or interested in learning the skill.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience

• Good report writing and verbal communications skills.
