MicroStrategy’s Sales Engineers (Pre-sales Consultants) have a key role in the ASEAN Region. As Pre-sales experts, our Sales Engineers are accomplished at dealing directly with clients, along with international colleagues, to help secure results for a global, market leading listed company (NASDAQ: MSTR). Our Sales Engineers work closely with our Sales and Customer Success Management organizations to provide technical solutions for our prospective and existing customers, as well as with our Product and Consulting organizations to provide customer feedback and project handover. Your Focus

• Understand a customer’s goals and challenges through successful discovery to effectively position the MicroStrategy platform in a way that differentiates us from the competition and brings clarity to where we can add value in a customer’s architecture.

• Scope, build, and present custom demos and presentations that address key business value for our prospects.

• Take technical ownership of the sales opportunity, respond to objections and can manage most aspects of the sales cycle with little assistance.

• Handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

Job Requirements: 

•  PhD degree in in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely-related discipline.

• Background as a Project Principal Investigator (PI), providing the capability to effectively lead the project team.

• Strong teaching ability and excellent communication skills.

• Possess strong interdisciplinary expertise in the domains of Coastal Science/Engineering, Environmental Fluid Mechanics, or Hydraulic Engineering.

• Previous strong academic credentials post PhD in these areas will be highly preferred.

• Handle full or partial sets of accounts (monthly, quarterly and yearly) for the portfolio of clients

• Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions and analyse financial information, to prepare meaningful management accounts and supporting schedule

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least Diploma and above.
