SYSTEMS SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

Research Scientist (Urban Systems & Transportation modelling)

We are looking for researchers who are highly motivated with a passion for developing solutions relating to modelling and simulation of transportation and complex urban systems. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to develop next generation transport and urban R&D solutions, leveraging on advanced AI and digital twin technologies. 1. Job Purpose

a) The Executive will support the organisation’s strategic growth and development in the area of Value Based Care (VBC) under Clinical & Academic Development. The primary responsibilities and duties include supporting the Director on strategic planning across NHG, assisting in work plan formulation, and facilitating the translation of technical requirements into a visualisation for data analysis to enable performance measurement.

• Develop simulation modules for the agent-based simulator.
• Design and implement simulation scenarios.
• Develop behavioural rules for the simulation agents.
• Implement real-world dynamics including physical motion laws, power-flow, scheduling, and operational constraints as needed.

• Optimise the performance of the simulation.
• Write research papers and present at conferences and communicate to project collaborators

Education and experience requirements:
