Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

· Assist in training the employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency.

· Supervise the employees of the department ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained and continuously improved.

· Ensure that the departmental food cost and operational budget is strictly adhered to and all the costs are strictly controlled.

· Ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to hygiene, health, safety and fire.

· Ensure the quality of food preparation is in accordance with the established standard.

· Ensure the cost effective production of raw materials so as to minimize wastage.

· Create new dishes for menu planning.

· Ensure the highest hygienically standard in preparation, storage and handling of food according to ENVstandards.

· Liaise with Central Purchasing Department on new products and innovations.

· Conduct interviews and selects applicants.

· Conduct disciplinary actions on employees.

· Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Management

Requirements:

· 3 years of relevant experience in a Junior Sous Chef Position.

· Able to do shift work, weekends and public holidays.

· Able to start within short notice

· Good time-management skills and able to work under pressure

Job Scope:

The Executive will support the organisation’s strategic growth and development under Clinical & Academic Development.

• Support Director on strategic planning
• Assist in work plan formulation
• Facilitate the translation of technical requirements into a visualisation for data analysis to enable performance measurement
• Collaborate with cluster-wide multi-disciplinary teams, and external stakeholders to align processes and resources planning
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, data analyst, Finance department and IT teams to conduct analysis using healthcare data, build and maintain data mart to drive value-based care initiatives
• To conduct analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights through healthcare data, to drive value-based care initiatives
• To collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT teams to translate requirements into measurements and into insightful dashboards
• To perform a periodic review of key performance indicators and to take pre-emptive action with relevant stakeholder
• To present routine reports and updates to stakeholders
• To support and facilitate the formulation of strategic workplan for Clinical transformation

Requirements:

• A Min Bachelor Degree in any field

• Proven track record of using Tableau for visualization and analysis, along with a strong understanding of data management

• Relevant experience in Project Management, Data Analytics and/or proficiency in programming language such as Python and/or R and visualization tools such as Tableau.

• Assist in the management of direct purchasing activities within the procurement unit, through managing end-user requisitions for facilities management services and consumable items and managing and monitoring of the procurement lifecycle.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and SLA.
• Conduct regular reviews of vendor services to perform due diligence on vendors.
• Administer a central contract database to ensure adherence and compliance to regulatory and Head Office policies, DOA and agreed procedures.
• Act as point of contact for vendor liaisons for system malfunctions and rectification
• Support the tracking, measurement, reporting and evaluation of supplier performance through internal and external governance meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and both internal and external service providers.

Vendor Risk Management and Outsourcing

• Facilitate vendor assessment and registration to ensure due diligence is conducted and approvals are in place before the vendor on boarding
• Facilitate name screening checks
• Review IRQs and DDQs submitted to determine the Engagement level risk
• Maintain an updated register of the onboarded vendors, required documentations and due diligence evidences in compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the record management process of the branch and work with record management vendor to ensure up to date accurate record of the items archived.
• Work with Group Corporate Services to implement the record management policy for the branch

Office management

• Organise and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure organizational efficiency and safety and provide support to ensure adherence to expected service levels.
• Oversee facilities upkeep and maintenance including liaison with contractors for improvements and rectifications.
