Functions and Responsibilities

· Support Operator / Marne Superintendent in maintaining / updating HSSEQ management system

The Antimicrobial Resistance Interdisciplinary Research Group (AMR IRG) is a unique translational research and entrepreneurship program aimed at solving the growing threat of resistance to antimicrobial drugs. In synch with the National Strategic Plan for Antimicrobial Resistance, the AMR IRG was launched in January 2018 as a research programme funded by the National Research Foundation, under its Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) programme.

• Leads/participates in meetings, reviews progress of projects and addresses complex interface/implementation/execution issues to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.
• Independently evaluate the Process requirement for all packages in Marine & Topside, contributes to technical bid evaluation process, ensures selected vendors meet technical/engineering and delivery requirements as stipulated in the project specifications
• Reviews progress of projects and addresses complex interface/implementation/execution issues to ensure that the projects proceed timely and smoothly.Plans and organizes resources and schedule.
• Provides technical/engineering support and expert advice to Construction/Commissioning, Offshore work at site, directs trouble shooting and follow up actions to rectify the gaps or problems. Handles more complex issues, and where necessary, provides off-site support and advice.
• Independently prepares Facility startup procedures, finalizes with Operations team input and provides expert advice / guidance / trouble shooting for facility startup at Offshore
• Guides/supervises junior Engineers and provides feedback to Department Manager for their performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in Process engineering in oil and gas sector for degree holders or minimum 14 years of relevant working experience for Master degree holder. Direct work experience on FPSO/FSO projects, min 3 projects of mega size, and market practices in the oil and gas sector.
• Must be conversant with the applicable industry standards, Company standards, specifications and procedures for his/her functional area.
• Language(s) and Software: List any special language requirement besides English and also any fundamental software skill(s) required by this job.

Using state of the art Vessel Traffic Information System (VTIS), our Vessel Traffic Officers play a vital role in managing busy port traffic for the safe and efficient navigation of vessels transiting through the Singapore Strait. Be a part of the vibrant and dynamic team of VTIS officers, working on a 3 rotating shift and communicating with vessels on VHF radio to provide traffic information to these vessels. Other duties include distress watch keeping and attending to marine incidents.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be able to communicate clearly and provide courteous service to port users.
• Comfortable to work on 3 rotating shifts (morning, afternoon & night), including weekends and Public Holidays.
• Able to work independently and be comfortable with being rotated to various work locations in the East and West of Singapore.
