Job Duties:

As an Operations Executive, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic team to shape the future of global supply chain. You work at the heart of our container terminals to build your core operations knowledge.

You can look forward to work in either:

1. Control Centre, where you willLead a team of control center supervisors and responsible for the planning of manpower resources and sophisticated equipment, to ensure the quick turnaround of our vessels and prompt connectivity of our customers’ containers,
   Execute and monitor container handling operations to ensure PSA delivers seamless service to our customers round the clock
   
2. Planning, where you willLead a team of ship planners, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to meet shift-to-shift ship planning requirements, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction.
   Spearhead container ship planning to achieve optimal cargo distribution for vessel stability, facilitating swift vessel turnaround and seamless connectivity in PSA SG.

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Monthly Base Salary: Up to SGD 4,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify both opportunities and potential risks.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that merchandising efforts are effectively aligned with promotional campaigns.
• Maintain the categorization of Product Item Attributes to ensure accurate classification.
• Perform weekly analysis of product sell-through and generate monthly data reports as required.
• Provide extensive merchandising support and engage in cross-functional collaboration on key projects.
• Take full accountability for sales performance, pricing strategies, inventory management, buying decisions, allocation processes, grouping strategies, and markdown plans.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of product launches, and liaise with the Logistics Department to ensure smooth delivery.
• Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to develop and implement in-store display guidelines.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the merchandising team, fostering their development and enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Regularly train and mentor team members to help them grow professionally.
• Ensure efficient reporting to the Department Head on weekly action plans, keeping them informed of progress and any challenges faced.

You will need: -

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Retail Management, Statistics, Business Analytics.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Merchandising, Retail Buying, or relevant field.
• General knowledge of Merchandising and Buying processes, with strong product knowledge.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel with good analytical skills.
