Job Description
- Planning and Asset Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of an event, from conceptualization to execution.
This includes securing venues, arranging food and beverages, coordinating with vendors, and managing logistics such as transportation and accommodations
- Liaising with vendors to ensure their services are delivered as per the event requirements
- Coordinate logistics related to events, such as coordinating transportation for attendees, arranging accommodations, managing registration and ticketing
- Assist in event setup and teardown
- Present on-site during events to assist in all aspects of event execution, managing part-timers, handling emergencies or unforeseen issues
- Assist in gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for Uplay Calendar of Events
- Prepare periodic databases, reports, and presentations
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Events Management or related studies
- At least 1-2 years of experience in event management, project management, hospitality, preferably in the leisure, recreational and hospitality sector are preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to timelines
- Able to work on weekends (including Public Holidays)
