We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive with a passion for paints and a deep understanding of the industry to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our premium range of paints. Your expertise in the paint industry will be essential in understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the paint industry.
• Present and promote our range of paint products to potential and existing customers.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, including interior designers, contractors, architects, and retailers.
• Provide expert advice on paint selection, application techniques, and colour trends to meet client needs.
• Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
3. Product Knowledge:
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our paint products, including their features, benefits, and application processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the paint sector.
• Provide product training and demonstrations to clients as needed.
4. Market Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports to management.
• Gather and share customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
5. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive, preferably in the paint or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of paint products, application techniques, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events. (Good to have)
