[What you will be working on]

The Senior Geospatial Consultant will liaise and engage with organisations from the Healthcare, Social, Education sectors and Government Agencies to promote the mainstreaming of geospatial solutions and technologies in Singapore. The Senior Geospatial Consultant works with the team to develop programmes, conduct training & workshops, and execute geospatial analytics projects.

The Senior Geospatial Consultant will need to effectively engage with persons unfamiliar with Geospatial data and technology to communicate the value-add and potential that Geospatial has in providing value to their various organisations and workflows.

[What we are looking for]

• Understanding of geospatial (e.g. Understanding of Geospatial concepts, technology, applications, geospatial analytics techniques and methods).

• Good understanding in the application of Python required. R programming languages is a bonus.

• Knowledge in the use of geospatial software such as ESRI (ArcGIS Pro, Online, tools, etc) or QGIS is required.

• Good written communication skills. To be able to curate presentation decks to effectively illustrate key messages 

• Good verbal communication skills. To be able to present and engage with large audiences and senior executives in formal and informal settings.

• Good interpersonal skills, to manage collaborative relationships with various teams and work towards delivery of cross functional projects

[What you will be working on]

The job entails helping Singapore companies enter the market and/or grow their presence in China. This includes close monitoring of the political and economic landscapes in China, understanding of Singapore companies' operations in China, identifying opportunities and challenges, including regulatory roadblocks and in-market practices, and developing and implementing strategies to build strategic partnerships and facilitate market access. You will also support the various Government-to-Government engagements to foster bilateral trade and economic relations between China and Singapore.

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in government policy formulation, international relations and/or business or market development

•            Assist in talent acquisition efforts by providing insights on recruitment metrics and trends with a tech-savvy twist.

•            Support the design and implementation of talent development and retention strategies that rival the tech giants.

4.           HR Strategy Superhero (with a Data Cape):

•            Partner with HR business partners to align analytics efforts with the HR and organisational strategy while pioneering tech-driven HR innovations.

•            Provide data-driven recommendations that not only address HR challenges but also propel us into the digital future.

5.           Compliance and Reporting (Without Tech Jargon):

•            Ensure HR data compliance with relevant regulations and policies, while making it as user-friendly as a tech gadget.

•            Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports that not only inform but also inspire.

6.           Tech-Savvy Stakeholder Collaboration:

•            Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance HR analytics capabilities while staying ahead of tech trends.

•            Collaborate with IT to improve HR data systems and tools with the tech know-how of a Silicon Valley guru.

[What we are looking for]

•            Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. 

•            Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related roles, with a tech-driven passion.

•            Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools and analytics software (SQL, Tableau, Python etc.) and the ability to make data dance like a tech prodigy.

•            Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and proficiency in HR databases and software with a tech-savvy edge.

•            Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a way that resonates with tech enthusiasts.

•            Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR analytics to strategic tech-driven business objectives.

•            Knowledge of HR best practices is a plus, but a tech-driven mindset is non-negotiable.
