Job purpose
As the Brands & Promotions Senior Producer, you will lead the day-to-day management of the APAC Production team, overseeing operations in both Singapore and Sydney. This pivotal role entails serving as the primary point of contact for all production-related requests. You will be instrumental in managing resources, recruiting new talent where necessary, assigning tasks, and ensuring comprehensive oversight of all production work whilst managing a variety of campaigns yourself. Given the constantly evolving landscape of media and production, Senior Producers need to remain adaptable, innovative, and open to embracing new technologies and trends to deliver cutting-edge content.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Leadership: Lead and foster a collaborative environment within the APAC Production team. Ensuring high productivity and efficiency standards. Proven record of effectively managing production teams, providing development, leadership and guidance, and overseeing the entire production process.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all production-related inquiries, facilitating seamless communication between stakeholders and the production team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Adept at having difficult conversations, delivering feedback, and setting clear boundaries.
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong stakeholder and Account Management relationship management abilities.
Resource Optimisation: Efficiently allocate and manage team/freelancer resources to meet project demands and timelines effectively.
Creative Talent Management: Identify, engage, and develop new diverse talent to enhance the team's capabilities, leveraging new skills. Experience in creatively managing resources, including sourcing, and engaging freelance talent across creative, design, and for shoots.
Project Oversight & Alignment: Maintain comprehensive oversight of all aspects of production work, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and brand guidelines.
Production Oversight: Supervise all productions encompassing broadcast, VOD, trade, events, and priority deliverables.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate, support, and contribute to key stakeholder’s plans with targeted communications across multiple platforms, ensuring world-class delivery.
Legal & Compliance: Ensure accuracy and compliance of all delivered materials, including editorial content, copyrights, and music. Adhere to legal requirements, processes, and procedures.
Creative: Show a genuine passion for creative content. Contribute to brainstorms, and offer innovative solutions which meet briefs both creatively and financially.
Budget Management: Plan and scope annual and campaign production budgets, communicating changes effectively and ensuring timely reconciliations. Manage financial aspects within assigned budgets, working in systems like SAP, handling purchase orders and freelance contracts.
Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment, implementing and complying with Health & Safety Regulations.
Agency Coordination: Manage external agencies and freelance producers, overseeing timelines, budgets, and delivering completed projects according to specifications.
Knowledge, skills, training, and experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior production role within a similar industry or setting.
Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage dynamic production teams effectively.
Project & Organisational Management: Strong organisational skills ensuring timely and precise project delivery within scope. Proven track record of successful project management.
Negotiation & Diplomacy: Proficient negotiator adept at securing favourable outcomes and maintaining diplomatic communication with stakeholders and contractors.
Localisation: Experience of localising content in a variety of languages and formats.
Delegation: Ability to delegate, allocate and prioritise work accordingly.
Production Excellence: Demonstrated history of delivering successful advertising/promotional or creative content.
Rebrands: Experience leading rebranding initiatives, including budget scoping.
Shoot Coordination & Safety Compliance: Proven track record of organising and managing shoots with an emphasis on workplace safety regulations.
Budget Oversight: Proven ability to track, record and manage budgets exceeding 100k and overseeing complex productions and post-production processes.
Broadcast Production Expertise: Previous experience as a Producer within a broadcast on-air team, or agency ensuring on-time project completion within allocated budgets.

The role requires the ability to be assertive and make independent decisions while receiving full support throughout task planning and execution. There is a significant level of autonomy, especially in managing the creative network, allowing for individual initiative. Support from the manager will be available to ensure successful task completion and to provide guidance when needed.
Scope
This role operates within a responsive and dynamic environment, necessitating an agile, solution-oriented approach. The practice of change management is therefore ongoing. The primary responsibility involves formulating and overseeing campaign projects and budgets. Collaboration with Creatives is key, involving the conceptualisation and budgeting of diverse campaigns, encompassing potentially shot campaigns and clip-based ideas.
The campaign outcomes will reach audiences regionally and globally through various social platforms. As a result, the Producer needs to possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with global stakeholders. Additionally, a crucial aspect of this role involves a nuanced understanding of content localisation practices.
