What you’ll achieve:

The Senior Fraud Advisor is a key member of Outseer's Customer Success team, responsible for delivering exceptional fraud detection and prevention services to customers. This role requires advanced expertise in fraud analysis, data analytics, and consultative skills to ensure customers effectively utilize Outseer products for detecting and rejecting fraudulent activities. The Senior Fraud Advisor will engage directly with customers, providing expert guidance, conducting in-depth data analysis, and facilitating successful consulting engagements.

Customer related engagements may include a deep analysis of data to determine the best possible rules, provide expert guidance on how our products work and provide the missing link between customer experiences/issues and the product’s internal development and future enhancements. Having a strong data analytics background is a necessary skill for this role while also being able to successfully communicate with customers.

Essential Requirements

· Analytical Consulting: Utilize an advanced data analytics background to perform in-depth data analysis, identify complex fraud patterns, and provide expert guidance on rule enhancements for customers. Offer consultative services on best practices for effectively managing fraud detection using Outseer products.

· Customer Engagement: Lead end-to-end execution of consulting engagements by evaluating customers' utilization of Outseer systems, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and delivering expert guidance. Serve as a subject matter expert, answering customer questions, explaining system usage, and guiding customers on best practices.

· Customer Meetings: Facilitate and lead regular customer-facing meetings, addressing inquiries, and assisting customers in achieving their fraud detection goals. Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and recommendations to help customers succeed in their fraud prevention efforts.

· Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on customers' system usage, rule performance, and actionable recommendations for enhancing future performance. Conduct thorough internal research to address customer inquiries, provide valuable feedback on best practices, and ensure timely resolution of fraud detection-related issues.

Present findings through visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphical results, presentations, and reports that cater to both internal teams and customers of varying technical expertise.

Desired Requirements

The Senior Analyst, APAC L&H Analytics will support the Head of APAC Analytics in delivering all L&H entities analysis, including quarterly financial analysis, financial planning and forecasting analysis, expense analysis, as well as business analysis for senior management. The role is required to focus on APAC L&H entity level analysis (i.e. the analysis of full P&L and B/S under local reporting framework) to allow a wholistic assessment on L&H contribution (dividend and capital repatriations) to Group.

In addition, the role has a key component to further develop and enhance the Apac L&H entity planning and analysis tool as the business in Asia Pacific grows. Key deliverable to enhance the efficiency of the tools and database supporting the overall consolidation of entity actuals and plan financials.

There is a specific requirement of this role to be a strong communicator to all stakeholders, including but not limited to entity CEOs and CFOs, regional finance teams with Asia Pacific and Head office, and senior management.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Entity-level quarterly financial reporting and analytics

• Perform the quarterly financial reporting process for IFRS 17 P&L B/S under local reporting framework, including detail variance analysis (actual vs plan, actual vs prior year) and the underlying business/technical drivers
• Support the entiy-level closing process in collaboration with Business Performance, Valuation and Technical Accounting teams to identify the early developments for the quarter and timely communication of key impacts; this will need to include a holistic assessment of net results on dividend and capital to Group
• Establish a holistic bridging analysis across all reporting bases (i.e., group reporting standard, local GAAP, market view, entity view)
• Provide effective and timely communication of entity level results to management team, including local entity CEOs and CFOs.
• Streamline the quarterly financial reporting process and requirements

2. Entity-level operating planning and forecast

• Perform the production process of local entity IFRS 17 Operational Planning for the APAC to ensure timely submission, good data quality and documentation of key drives/risks to plan
• Support the production process of local GAAP income statement and balance sheet for the SRAP APAC entities in collaboration with Valuation and Finance teams
• Support Capital Management Team to provide Operating Planning to allow for capital forecast
• Provide effective communication of local entity plan progression for each iterations of operating plans and the corresponding plan assumptions / key risks to plan

Required experience & competencies

• At least 7 years of relevant working experiences in fields related to insurance/reinsurance/accounting, preferably with at least 5 years in actuarial, accounting, reporting matters and data analysis or insurance audit
• Ideally a Qualified Actuary with very strong Actuarial or Accounting and IFRS knowledge, with insurance context
