What is your mission?

Overview
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for writing headlines and localising copy for our client's marketing communications, which includes web, in-store, electronic direct mail and other materials. This mainly involves the adaptation of creative copy originally written in English into Bahasa Indonesian language for the Indonesian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, review, and empower campaigns for the clients brand and products.
• Maintain the brand tone of voice in the Bahasa Indonesian language. The tone should be consistent, regardless of media format.
• Ensure all messages are clear, follow the spirit of the English master copy and communicate the same strategic or product point.
• Guide and maintain the quality of the translated long copy, wherever it appears.
• Review, rewrite and approve all translated marketing copy from our translation partners.
• Work with a team of other Bahasa Indonesian-language copywriters, editors and translators and take full responsibility for the quality and accuracy of their work.
• Oversee TV, print and digital advertising created by our advertising agency and help steer the team in decisions made on behalf of the client. This includes providing feedback on casting, script development and final executions.

Working closely with copywriters, the Senior Copy Editor would be expected to maintain the highest possible standards. The ideal candidate is technically-savvy, possesses a keen eye and exceptional attention to detail to ensure clarity and accuracy in each project copy. He/She should be flexible, adaptable and results-driven, with the skills to work across stakeholders, and an ability to focus and prioritise in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

You will be required to build strong working relationships with the in-market and global teams to ensure delivery of linguistically and tonally perfect campaigns that will ensure the client’s products stand out in the Indonesian market.

• Responsible for providing language validation (Bahasa Indonesian language) of customer-facing marketing content across digital, print and in-store communications, with a focus on consistency with brand tone of voice
• Edit and proofread editorial, marketing, and social media copy in Bahasa Indonesian
