About this role
The Senior Structural Engineer will be the key client liaison design officer between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore offices for the assigned projects. This part-time role will involve regular client facing and being a key member of the larger project groups that will include design, technical documentation, cost estimates, client submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budget.

What will I do?

• Client liaison work and be the main contact person between the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore offices working on the projects.
• Provide insight into local engineering practices in Malaysia to the client and engineering team in Singapore.
• The main point of contact for resource management between the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore offices.
• Deliver the technical and design input on assigned project, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard.
• Prepare project reports for clients summarizing key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes.
• Be involved in project management, relationship management and related business development activities with the client.

What will I bring?

• Degree or master’s in Civil Structural engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering within a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of project collaboration between Malaysia and Singapore.
• Familiar with relevant Codes and Practices, contract administration and submission procedures.
• Able to demonstrate strong Engineering design ability, skills and knowledge.
