Job Requirements

• Able to operate a Point of Sales (POS) machine;
• Candidates with relevant working experience in the F&B industry;

We are looking for a new accounting executive who will manage all accounting and finance matters of the company.

Responsibilities

• Handle the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, P&L statements and taxes.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile / analyze financial statements (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end etc) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Examining bank statements and process reconcile, handle employee expenses reports, payroll administration and accounting, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns, tax computation and handle tax queries from the tax authority
• Prepare audit & tax schedules & liaise with auditors and tax agent.
• Liaising on corporate secretarial matters and other external counterparts such as bank and accounting firm.
• Prepare financial statements for a few investment properties companies, including GST returns, tax computations and handling tax queries
• Assist in any other finance-related matters as required
• To assist the set-up of new joint ventures, managed & participate in all day-to-day accounting operations including billings, A/R, A/P & GL

Requirements

• Holds professional accounting qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 - 10 years of accounting experience
• Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (must have working knowledge of Sage accounting package)
• Independent and self-driven with high level of initiative
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
