The successful candidate will:

Be responsible for maximizing Murata sales opportunities by promoting product growth and account direction for assigned accounts. The position is accountable for emerging core business creation.

Targeted customers are IC/Semiconductor customers. Analysing customer segmentation and competitor landscape, the candidate develops sales strategies.

He/She is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients. This role required proactive outreach, excellent communication skills, and strategic mindset to expand business opportunity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business plans to increase business opportunities for the assigned customers/team. Demonstrates initiative in identifying new opportunities and converting them into actual sales.
• Execute design activities of reference design in IC/Semiconductor customers. Align with the internal Product Team to conduct sales promotion activities for prospective and existing customers.

About the Role

As a Category Manager, Networks Transport you will be part of the Networks Sourcing Strategic team and you will report to the Head of Category - Networks Transport & Capacity. You will work closely with both Group units in Telenor and all of the Business Units. As a Category Manager you will be working closely with the entire category team by contributing to the end to end Category management and strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, as well as supplier management processes. Scope of Category Manager – Networks Transport includes Microwave, IP Routers and WDM systems however he/she will also support in additional areas i.e. Fixed Networks Infrastructure, International Capacity & IP Transit, Satellite capacity, Leased Lines and Fiber Build. In addition, you will help Telenor Procurement Company to drive new focus area related to providing procurement services to 3rd parties.

Main tasks

· Collaborate with team members and other user departments for preparing and executing the category procurement strategy, innovative analysis and proactively addressing procurement needs.

· Execute sourcing projects at global level with participants from the Business Units as well as Group functions.

· Manage, lead and Support Category into Company business’s topic in Procurement As A Services (PaaS) that deliver value in the procurement of goods and services for the company.

· Collaborate with user departments to reduce the procurement cycle time.

· Ensure contract compliance with policies and achieve targets.

· Develop and prepare periodic reports on all procurement activities.

· Follow-up with the Business Units on contract management requirements.

· Lead negotiations and ensure delivery targets.

· Maintain an awareness of relevant and latest Sourcing and Procurement guidelines.

· Lead the implementation of category sourcing strategy.

· Identify, analyze, and develop vendor markets.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

· Broad experience with Microsoft & other relevant tools, e.g. ThinkCell etc.

· Have deep insight into end to end Sourcing process and strategies.

· Have good presentation and communication skills with proficiency in English with ability to influence colleagues and decision makers.

· Relevant Technology background would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• The Design Manager plays a key role in planning and developing projects, contributing to the creation of engineering designs that align with project requirements, from conceptual stages through to schematic and detailed designs.

• Experience with Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, Swan, Fairline, or Axopar is advantageous.
• Broad understanding of modern pleasure vessel systems, including mechanical, electrical, water systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams, and to work with technical documentation and emailed instructions from various parties.
• Skilled in MS Office applications with strong computer and internet proficiency.
• Minimum of five years in customer service, preferably in the marine industry.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

-Ensure proper cash handling controls such as accurate daily cash reports, change funds and petty cash funds.

Marketing

-Monitor and track industry and market trends as well as consumer spending habits; develop and present action plans to achieve and/or exceed sales forecast

-Ensure smooth implementation of new products, promotions and other sales and marketing activities through proper planning, organization and coordination of activities.

-Maintain a record of each outlet’s sales trend before, during and after the launch of any marketing activity
