Work you’ll do
Deloitte’s team brings together professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to leverage the best-in-class solutions to challenging problems our clients face across the financial services industry. Our deep sector knowledge and global resources allow us to provide a breadth of services to our clients.
You’ll work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions to enhance business value. You will drive pioneering propositions across the wider financial services industry within SEA, such as regulatory and accounting transformation, digital transformation, end-to-end operational excellence, M&A, etc.
In the short term, you will bring in your “outside in” experience and perspectives related to global best practices and Southeast Asian leading practices across financial services. Your role will require daily collaboration with clients—which include facilitating client workshops, design sessions, and leadership review sessions, showcasing your knowledge of wider markets across financial services and incorporating it to client needs.
You will exercise strong numerical, analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, and communicate your findings. Finally, you will be encouraged to work collaboratively in a team.
You’ll support our clients and our firm with:
• On-going projects, ranging from operating model design, cost optimization, and business process optimization
• Project and workstream management, and team leadership
• Future strategy planning to support our clients achieve their growth objectives.
• Target operating model implementation to facilitate digitalization, growth, efficiency etc.
• Process improvement and technology enablement across the entire asset management value chain (including but not limited to distribution, underwriting and claims management).
• Business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, generating proposals and industry benchmarking.
• Management and development of junior team members.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
If you are someone with:
• Tertiary qualification in a business, financial market, consulting or capital markets discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia market and also global leading practices, core trends and drivers, with proficiency in articulating regulatory, economic, technological, and business impacts on key institutions is an advantage.
• Experience in leading teams and projects.
• Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
