The purpose of the Business Development Leader - Palo Alto Networks (PANW) at IBM is to drive net new pipeline development and sales progression of IBM Consulting Cybersecurity Services (CSS) client opportunities that incorporate PANW’s technology in the broader solution offered by IBM Consulting (IBMC). These opportunities may be part of an even more comprehensive opportunity that an IBMC Lead Client Partner (LCP) is pursuing with or delivering to the client.

The focus of this role will be to develop new and high value IBMC opportunities for the PANW specific CSS portfolio, which currently includes:

The Business Development Leader role is client facing. Within the limits of delegated authority, the Finance and Administrative Manager is responsible for the following duties:

Contributes to strategic planning and policy changes/formulation on administrative matters as necessary. Provides technical input to the establishment of administrative and Finance guidelines. As an Advisor to the Secretary-General, the incumbent updates staff on administrative and Finance policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, providing authoritative advice and administrative support. Coordinates the Administration and Finance of the organisation to support policy reform in administrative and financial management; advises on the applicability of new policy directives. (F) EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
An advanced university degree (minimum of a Master’s degree and preferably a PhD) in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent certificate from a recognized University is mandatory. Qualified Accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) and Membership of a professional body such as the ACCA, ACA, etc. are mandatory.

A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in the area of finance, financial risk management, or any other comparable experience in a Big 4 (or equivalent) Accounting firm and in industry, preferably with multinational companies, is desirable. Proficiency in the use of the following types of accounting software (general accounting software, payroll software, inventory management software, and invoicing software), with specific competence in two or more of the following accounting software: NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Desktop Pro,Sage Intacct, FreshBooks, QB Enterprise, Xero, SAP Business One, Blackline, and Acumatica, among others is mandatory.

The Regional Category Manager defines the strategy for all main- and sub-categories within the defined category on a regional level and manages key supplier relationships (SRM) – in line with global strategies, if applicable. • Track and evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Provide regular reports and insights to management, highlighting achievements, opportunities, and potential risks, taking various tools and data sources into consideration.

8) Continuous Improvement:

Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience in procurement with a deep understanding of the MHE/logistics industry and various MHE types.
