Assist the Head of Securities Marketing in BDO SGB Treasury in the day-to-day overall activities related to Investment Accounts for the Regulated Activities under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) to achieve its overall objectives and targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and maintain client relationships to build market share and enhance client asset size over time. Achieve annual revenue targets and objectives.

2. Provide investment advisory to Private Banking clients. Formulate investment strategies aligned to clients’ objective and risk profile.

3. Initiate product idea generation as subject matter expert and keep breast of developments in the market.

4. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clients’ business and source of wealth generation

5. Maintain full understanding of client goals and risk tolerance to ensure that financial strategies are appropriate

6. Ensure coverage of all relationships through client engagement, risk profiling and financial planning

7. Explain the investment product features, risks, fees and charges, and other sales-related information to the customer;

8. Perform suitability assessment to identify Unsuitable Products (which are disallowed for sale) or Mismatch Products (which require approval from management prior to execution of the order instruction);

9. Present and communicate complex financial concepts and investment strategies with the highest degree of professionalism

10. Ensure strong controls and effective operational and administrative tasks including compliance on regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

• Support the sites in all their Environment, Health, Safety and Security challenges. Implement HSSQE strategy/ initiatives/programmes. Act as a central point of contact between the Management team and the Marine crew.
• Deploy appropriate HSSQE management systems, standards, and tools. Monitor HSSQE performance, manage HSSQE auditing/certifications and assurance programmes and track, review and take necessary actions to drive continual HSSQE improvement. Responsible for the supervision of environmental issues.
• Ensure that the Integrated Management System supports the delivery of Regulatory Compliance and advice on compliance with relevant applicable Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
• Best Practices Implementation and Collaboration - Establishes the process for implementing HSSQE best practices with other sites/segments and seek continuous performance improvements.
• Involve in strategic planning for HSSQE workplan mapped according to the Key Performance Indicator. Promulgate and organize promotion campaign for HSSQE. Maintain Company’s Safety Management System in accordance with ISM, ISPS Codes, ISO 9001 and ISO14001.
• Identify knowledge or skills gaps (specific focus on safety, company policies and procedures) and implement supportive corrective actions to meet these needs to help ensure competency levels are attained and maintained.
• Create and maintain team spirit among the community, working hand in hand with other regional departments. Challenge breaches in HSSQE standards. Manage and optimize the regional HSSQE organisation to deliver added value to the organisation.

Requirements:

• Team player, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Min Degree in any relevant discipline and/or Diploma in Maritime/Nautical studies with COC Class 2 & above
• Possess strong passion in HSSQE. Knowledge of ISM and ISPS standards and qualified as an internal auditor for ISO/ISM.
• Investigation training and practical experience.
• Occupational health and safety training and practical experience in HSSQE related tasks.
• Experience and knowledge in ship vetting, OVMSA regime and marine risk management.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and presentational skills and be able to build relationships with external partners.
• Able to work in fast changing environment and prioritise daily tasks on a risk management basis.

6. Conduct the investment product selling process upon receiving order instructions from customers;

7. Explain the investment product features, risks, fees and charges, and other sales-related information to the customer;

8. Perform suitability assessment to identify Unsuitable Products (which are disallowed for sale) or Mismatch Products (which require approval from management prior to execution of the order instruction);

9. Conduct other selling process as regulated by the policy and procedures and obtain the required acknowledgement and confirmations from customers during the investment product selling process to satisfy the disclosure requirements.

10. Keep updated on market trends, different investment products and services, and give input for new product development by being aware of clients’ investment needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for program managing and the delivery of the Future Workplayce’s roadmap across several business areas in PACS. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to the Program Director and work closely with the respective workstream leads and project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver a large-scale program end-to-end across all workstreams on time, on budget and on value.
• Review and update the Program Charter which covers the objectives, scope, budget, schedules, comms plans, risks and mitigation strategies, procurement strategies etc. Responsible for ensuring that all requisite approvals are in place and clearly documented to establish a program baseline for ongoing tracking.
• Support Program Director in the drafting of budget papers (ACR – Approval Committee Request) to secure funding for the program. Accountable for the completion and approval of ACRs under the program.
• Track program spending against approved budget.
• Identify interdependencies across workstreams/projects and proactively drive discussions to address the risks and constraints.
• Actively manage program risks and issues from initiation to closure.
• Manage program changes by tracking and maintaining records of changes and approvals.
• Schedule Program Steering Committee meetings and set agenda with Program Director. Ensure meeting decks are prepared and record minutes of meetings.
• Lead regular program meetings with respective working groups for updates, alignment and issue resolution.
• Conduct Post Implementation Review (PIR) and obtain signoff for program closure.
• Maintain all program artefacts diligently for project review and audit purposes.
• Adhere to project management and risk assurance governance processes. This includes but not limited to regular status reports to key stakeholders, Strategic Project Committee (SPC) report, Project Execution Scoring (PES) input and justification.
