Purpose and Scope

Reporting to the Head of Energy-from-Waste Plant, this role will act as Deputy Head and be responsible for all plant activities, providing leadership and guidance in operations and maintenance of the plant.

Responsibilities:

a. Perform sales functions as follows:

1. Identify potential customers with precious metal refining requirement from the following industry but not limited to, Oil and Gas / Chemical Industry / Aviation / Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical.
2. Prepare proposals and negotiate the best deal on behalf of the company through close follow-up with potential customers to obtain feedback on the status of quotations, competitors’ response, decision-maker’s intention and any other relevant information affecting the outcome of the proposal
3. Communicate with customers on metal pricing and transfer requirements
4. To monitor precious metal price updates and customer job status and work closely with relevant departments to ensure high customer satisfaction and smooth operations within the company

b. Work with Customer Service to maintain Customer Database with inputs such as name, designation, company, address, telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address, etc

c. Assist Senior Manager to maintain/improve the Customer Care Program by monitoring customer satisfaction, addressing customer complaints, and responding appropriately to any changes in customer’s personnel, equipment, processes, materials used and business strategy

d. Support market intelligence by gathering information on customers, prospects, competitors, new entrants, price, market situation and trends in the various segments, influence groups & stakeholders, service offering and substitutes

Requirements

· Diploma / Degree in business or chemical engineering field etc

· Experience in handling Asia market plus METAL industries

· Proven track record in key account management

· Proven ability to pitch and negotiate

· Self-driven and agile to adapt.

· Overseas traveling will be required

Remuneration:

· Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 (Sales Exec), $4,000 - $5,000 (Asst Manager)

· Attractive incentive scheme (up to $5,000 per quarter)

· Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5pm)

· Must possess own transport

· Fixed transport Allowance: S$600 (fixed)

· Vehicle expenses reimbursement: S$500 (based on receipt / bill, ie: petrol / carpark / ERP)

· HP reimbursement: S$200 (based on receipt / bill)

- Responsible for incident technical management and problem resolution; provide root cause analysis and work with Level 3 to implement permanent fixes in production environment

- Manage the technical support team supporting ORGANIZATION systems.

- Identify operational risks that could compromise contractual commitments and work with the Service Delivery Managers to mitigate them

- Maintain high morale within the team and foster teamwork through sharing and engagement, ensuring staff retention

- Perform regular coaching sessions to identify, recognize and support Technical Support Engineers in their areas of development

- Ensure Technical Support Supervisors have the tools and knowledge they need to support customers

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of systems by providing feedback to the development and integration team

- Drive process improvements within the team to ensure outcome targets are achieved

- Foster co-operation and co-ordination between internal departments and vendors to ensure a customer focused view is taken at all times

- Manage the day to day operational aspects and team time management within the site (i.e. schedule, breaks, absences, etc)

The Programme and Capability Development team serves as the resource, content and capability development unit within the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP).

The successful applicant will create content and programmes to engage employers to support them in the implementation of fair and progressive employment practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop resources such as articles, tool kits, e-learning modules and publications;

Job Requirements:

• Good written and communication skills to articulate key messages to target audience and stakeholders.

• IHRP certification/exposure to HR/employment issues such as workforce planning an development, employee engagement and other related areas preferred.
