Job Description:
Our client is looking for an innovative and energetic Assistant Operations Manager to collaborate with the Operations Manager in overhauling their workflow and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
· Workflow and Infrastructure Redesign: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to redesign warehouse workflow and infrastructure, integrating automation solutions to enhance efficiency within budget constraints.
· Team Leadership: Motivate and unite the warehouse team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
· Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication and reporting with stakeholders at the Ministry of Health (MOH) to ensure transparency and effective management.
· Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and returns with partners.
· Inventory Management: Manage inventory activities such as cycle counts, stock counts, handling of damaged or expired items, stock rotation, and maintaining safety stock levels.
· Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, resolve, and determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies and other related errors.
· Discrepancy Reporting: Report and investigate discrepancies between the system and partners' Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring timely submission of root causes and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
· SOP Compliance: Ensure all operational processes and documentation adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Requirements:
· Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Warehouse Management or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, with prior experience in supply chain and warehouse operations for the healthcare sector.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of Warehouse and Distribution Operations and Procedures, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Analytical Skills: Analytical and meticulous, with a keen eye for details and numbers.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP.
· Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team, fostering a positive work environment.
· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
