Job Description

Job description

• Work with team to develop investment strategies and asset allocation recommendations.
• Perform top-down sector analysis to understand industry specific drivers, assess competitive landscape, evaluate opportunities and risks.
• Perform bottom-up selection through detailed analysis of investment opportunities in public equities, special situations, start-ups, and fund managers.
• Develop/maintain financial models to derive valuation and ascertain drivers of returns
• Prepare succinct investment memos and presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Drive transaction execution, including negotiating and reviewing of legal documents alongside legal team
• Potentially assist in wider group initiatives, such as divestures and/or investments from an operating/strategic perspective
• Stay abreast of portfolio company specific developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may affect investment portfolio.
• Assist with ongoing internal portfolio reporting needs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with relevant experience will be given consideration regardless of field of study.
• 5-8 years of experience in areas demonstrating research (ie., equity research) or transactional/advisory experience (ie., PE/VC, investment banking, consulting, business development)
• Analytical mind and willingness to multi-task
• Detail-oriented with a passion for learning
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in corporate finance concepts
• Familiarity in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in footwear design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a high-performance or athletic brand preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, manage multiple projects, and drive results.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modelling, and other design tools. In-depth knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of Biomechanics: Comprehensive understanding of biomechanics to ensure designs optimise athlete performance and reduce injury risk.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the Head of Developer Relations for the Asia-Pacific, and Japan region. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our efforts to engage with developers, foster deep connections, and drive adoption of AWS services across the region during this transformative era of generative AI.
As the Head of Developer Relations for the geo, you will lead a growing talented team of Developer Advocates distributed across multiple countries in the APJ region. You will partner with leaders in Field Marketing, Public Relations, Solutions Architects, and other stakeholders to win the hearts and minds of developers through resonant messaging and trust-building initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead and inspire the Developer Advocates team: Mentor and guide a distributed team of Developer Advocates, fostering their growth, and empowering them to deliver exceptional results. Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture that attracts and retains top talent.
2. Foster deep connections with the developer community: Engage with developers through various channels, including events, meetups, online communities, and more.
3. Represent the voice of developers: Serve as the voice of developers from the APJ region within AWS, reporting on challenges and friction points faced by this audience. Partner with service teams to improve the developer experience and drive continuous improvement.
4. Develop and execute a strategic content and event plan in collaboration with service teams and marketing, ensuring impactful and relevant experiences for the technical audience.
5. Build strategic partnerships with service teams, marketing, public relations, and others for seamless collaboration and exceptional developer experiences.

A day in the life
Foster developer connections, gather insights to shape AWS services, and drive engagement across APJ. Nurture innovation within your team, surface Big Ideas via narratives, and secure buy-in and support from stakeholders. Daily activities include leading team meetings, attending product briefings, engaging online communities, planning events/content strategies, advocating the developer perspective internally, and presenting at major developer events.

Basic qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams
• 5+ years of experience in developer relations, or other customer-facing technical teams
• Strong software development and engineering background
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred qualifications

• 7+ years of experience of leading technical teams
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their impact on software development
• Demonstrated excellence in public speaking and presenting to technical audiences
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Passion for engaging with the developer community and advocating for their needs

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the project, including design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.

-Support risk management and operation regarding to derivatives:

Mark-to-market operation of the derivative trades every day;

Monitor whether a trader’s portfolio reaches loss/position limit or not;

Provide different level of warnings according to the loss level to make sure the limit is not breached.

-Support Credit risk analysis and management

Use given credit limits to manage and control counterparty risk, work together with local risk manager to set the credit limits.

Obtains and renews the key information of the counterparts annually or as required and report the local risk manager.

Monitor the credit limit utilization every day, and asks the counterparts for collaterals when the limit is breached.

-Interdepartmental and International Interactions

Within the scope of responsibilities, directly receive and implement the instructions of local risk manager and the overseas headquarter;

Directly communicate and cooperate with the front, middle and back offices of the company;

Respond to local or overseas regulatory bodies on the relevant business within the scope of responsibility when required;

Directly communicate with domestic and foreign customers, counterparts and consulting companies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree is preferable.

At least two years of professional experience as risk management, or derivative trading or operation.

Ability to communicate in fluent English to communicate with colleague and clients well.

Ability to speak and write in Chinese is required to communicate with Chinese speaking associates and clients, and to report to headquarter managements in China.
