General Purpose & Scope of the Job Position

The Compound Manager is responsible for the efficient handling and organization of chemical compounds within EDDC. The Compound Manager also manages time and automation resources, serves as the primary point of contact for compound management, and develops and executes detailed scripts for all wet plating processes.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the DMSO stock compound collection and all incoming sample plating requests.
• Support all screening projects in EDDC including storage and distribution.
• Manage time and automation resources supporting all wet compound plating activities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in biological sciences, chemistry or related field
• At least 5 years academic or industrial experience in biology or chemistry laboratories as a technician or research officer.
• Experience with inventory management of samples or compounds, database software.
