Overview of role

The primary objective of the role is to establish and enhance Schroders’ sustainable investment proposition with clients and build Schroders’ credentials across Asia Pacific. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct market research and analysis of blockchain industry trends to identify potential investment opportunities and screen them
• Analyze global blockchain investment projects to build strong network, evaluate risks and generate investment performance reports
• Develop investment reports based on research
• Work with investment institutions, project owners and clients to negotiate investment terms and agreements
• Oversee project operations, identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to enhance business

KEY COMPETENCIES/ SKILL SETS

• Around 8-15 years of investment or investment-related experience (i.e. equity research, corporate finance, investments, VC or M&A)
• Proven track record of investments, research of project management (deals done in the Web3 space is a plus)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion and interest for blockchain industry
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to liaise with Chinese stakeholders
