Business Strategy and Planning

• Work together with the Head of Capital Markets & Investment Services for Singapore to deliver the Business Plan and Operating Plan in line with corporate/ regional guidelines, contribute to the regional/ area plans as required

The Role

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the duties personally or through the Sales & Marketing team. The incumbent directs the day-to-day activities, plans, develops and communicates strategies and goals for the teams, which include Rooms Sales, and Marketing & Communications. As a Fenergo Director of Sales the primary objective of this role is to generate revenue for Fenergo by building, maintaining, nurturing sales pipelines, and managing each stage of the sales cycle through to deal execution.

•       Accelerating the growth of Visa Solutions with banks in Singapore and Brunei

•       Introducing, enabling and expanding the use of Visa’s new products and solutions (including new acquisitions) in the market to drive direct and indirect revenue

•       Regularly interfacing with key payment ecosystem leaders – including issuers, merchants, regulatory bodies and industry experts

Primary Responsibilities:

The Director of IT is responsible for the following task but not limited to the below:

• Oversee hotel IT Services team from managerial aspects and provide guidance to ensure all technology based questions can be answered promptly.
• Manage the day to day operations and scheduling of IT colleagues.
• Ensure that the team consistently provides a high level of operational stability for property based technology, and high levels of service and support to colleagues and guests
• Maintain and promote core technology standards and maintain Accor best practices in respect to property systems.
• Ensure that Accor Technology Policies and Procedures are carried out, according to The Finance & Accounting Policy Manual and as outlined in the Systems Manager user Guide.
• Provide technical expertise and project management for all technology projects.
• Provide twenty-four hour support for mission critical systems as documented in the service escalation document.
• Attend operational meetings as required.
• Effectively communicates technology related plans, actions and decisions with the hotel team.
• Contribute to Technology Services knowledge base.
• Implement and maintain backup and emergency procedures to ensure integrity of programs and data at all times.
• Be fiscally responsible by adhering to set budgetary guidelines.
• Provide point of escalation support to Accor team.
• Assist and support the hotel’s strategic plan implementation.

The Associate Director will lead a dynamic team of junior and mid-level researchers (comprising managers and executives) to manage and execute market research studies for our local and global clients. 

He/she should be recognized as having an expertise in quantitative market research. Well-versed and hands-on experience across all research solutions and statistical modelling techniques including (but not limiting to) brand equity/ health studies, shopper or U&A studies, segmentation, concept/product tests, customer experience and satisfaction studies. 

The position of Associate Director will be offered based on the years of experience and seniority of the candidate.  

Responsibilities 

As an Associate Director for Consumer Insights, your responsibilities and key expectations will include: 

Business Focus 

• Be accountable for the team's financial KPIs (both revenue and margin); continuously monitor actual versus budgeted performance and make interventions if needed. 

• Be an active business developer in generating opportunities with both new and existing clients. 

• Fluency in financial processes and in compliance with Nielsen IQ financial strategy and KPIs. 

• Be current with latest developments in market research and constantly suggest refinements to current processes and approaches. 

 Client Management

• Provide ideas and thoughtful insights into new ideas and initiatives for clients, showing competency, mastery and consultative skill. 

• Lead and promote strategic conversations and meetings with clients, which result in business opportunities. 

• Further foster strategic clients’ relationship with aim to provide impactful solutions to clients’ business issues. 

• Drive overall client satisfaction to achieve high Net Promoter Score (NPS). 

Insights Delivery

• Familiar with the end-to-end process of the market research process. 

• Translate data to insights, create compelling stories and powerful synthesis of findings to drive high impact business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations. 

• Actively drive issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations and consultative storytelling to clients and present to the clients including C-suite management in a straight-forward way.
