Sales Manager Requirements and skills

• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field

Provide interior design presentations to clients

About The Job

The Process Worker supports the mission of the Red Shield Industries, a social enterprise, highly regarded by public for its excellent delivery donation in kind service which is sensitive and responsive to the community welfare needs and meeting the funding needs of The Salvation Army. It is expected that as a process worker, the job incumbent will sort and distribute donated items according to the guidelines set up to maximize the revenue for The Salvation Army's work.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and process all clothing/toys/bric-a-brac/books/glassware/etc collected are classified as per standard operation procedures
• Ensure items are sorted categorically and distributed efficiently to warehouse for on forwarding to the retail stores.
• Support the execution of the planning and smooth operation of the sorting system and packaging before sending to the warehouse for distribution to the various stores.
• Surrender unclaimed monies or valuables to supervisor who will bring to the attention of the Processing Centre Management.

• Secondary Education
• Physically fit (able to lift 10 to 20 kg of goods)
• Able to stand for long period (4 hours)
• Able to work in non-aircondition environment

Working Hours

• Monday to Sunday: 8.30am to 6pm (inclusive 1.5-hours break)

Job Duties

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract talents. Oversee manpower planning and align recruitment strategies with manpower budget requirements.
• Streamlining HR operational processes for cost efficiency and driving digital transformation initiatives to support the organisation’s strategic goals.
• Oversee the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Involve in developing and implementing initiatives to support career progression, employee engagement, and retention.
• Foster a positive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns effectively.
• Lead HR System review and the implementation of new HR systems or upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prepare and present HR-related reports and analytics to senior management as needed.
• Support the Risk Management Leader and collaborate with the RM team to develop guidelines and organise Workplace Safety & Health events.
• Provide support for cross-departmental projects and ad-hoc initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Proficiency in using HR software and payroll systems, with hands-on experience in system implementation projects is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, budgeting, and cost optimisation strategies.
• Analytical mindset, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on results.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage employee relations effectively.
