The role is primarily to support the Binnies Singapore office to secure and deliver the Coastal and Flood Risk projects in Singapore. In addition, the successful individual will require to provide support to UK offices to deliver their Flood, Coastal, and Maritime projects.

It is primarily a technical role involving participation in maritime and coastal related civil engineering projects and studies. The individual will require performing design tasks, various studies, engineering management, client liaising, and communicating with other teams and offices.

The individual may need to work as a coastal specialist working closely with the same discipline and other multidisciplinary teams. Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedule

• Prepare sales related documents (example: Invoice, Quotation, service agreement etc)

• Support in bookkeeping and basic accounting entry

• Handle customer orders and email enquiries

• Liaise within relevant personnel to fulfil client’s request.

• Perform data entry work

Requirement:

1. Must have a GCE O'level

2. Must know MS office

3. Pleasant, meticulous and able to work at least 12 hours per week (work in office once a week)

Key Responsibilities

. Assist in students check-in and check-out process

· Upkeep hostel public areas.

· Perform housekeeping tasks before new check-in, including removing and putting on bed linens, mattress protectors, blankets and curtains for washing.

· Maintain and enforce quality service standards and procedures of housekeeping services.

· Report maintenance deficiencies.

· Provide assistance to hostel students when needed.

· Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health policies and procedures, environmental and quality policies.

. Manage hostel inventory.

· Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Job Requirements

· Experienced in Housekeeping/Customer Service role

· Good physical stamina and mobility

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. The Construction Manager shall play a key role in the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
2. He/She will be required to plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control
3. Responsible for cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects
4. Responsible for exercising timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, or emergencies at construction project sites
5. Reviewing manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation. Ensure to exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards
6. To maintain close collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all stakeholders to minimise errors in the process to achieve smooth completion of projects
7. To liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities compliance issues

Requirements:

1. 10 years relevant working experience within the Construction industry
2. Should possess a minimum qualification of Degree in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualification
3. Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently
4. Able to work under stress and complete tasks within set deadlines
