Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Electronics)
• Position Title: Regional Technical Engineer (APAC) / IT Support Engineer
• Working Location: Tai Seng
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,000 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers for Proof of Concept (PoC), project deployment, post-sales support, and internal simulation testing.
• Study system and product technical details to offer technical advice or support to customers and the sales team.
• Evaluate product specifications to improve system performance.
• Communicate with HQ programmers about customized software functionality requirements or 3rd party software integration (API) details.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Offer troubleshooting assistance to customers from the office or on-site.
• Manage demo products and maintain the filing of technical information.
• Set up and manage demo equipment for tradeshows.
• Monitor customer satisfaction to ensure outstanding customer value.
• Develop and maintain technical competence in company products, applications, and services.
• Create technical information such as datasheets, manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct technical presentations or training for customers.
• Assist in overall company operations for self-development toward a managerial position.
• Provide timely updates through the Vaxtor Project/PoC Management tool.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering or Electronics, or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry
• Knowledge of ANPR software and Intelligent Traffic System will have an advantage
• Experience with OCR, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and AI technologies is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand deal structures and checklist items before preparing reconciliation templates.
• Collaborate with the Manager to ensure checklists are created and updated for each agreement.
• Set up contract details and billing instructions in the system for accurate invoicing.
• Inform customers of monthly slot charges, including bunker updates, and issue fixed slot invoices promptly.
• Analyze customer loading data, address discrepancies with agents, and update system records accordingly.
• Prepare and submit accurate reconciliation statements on slot usage within the required timeframe.
• Follow up with customers for statement confirmation and issue invoices promptly.
• Address customer queries and independently resolve disputes.
