Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof. LIU Xiaogang on the development of lanthanide-based biosensor-enabled quantum sensing system under a project on Quantum sensing for health science based on nv centers in diamond.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• To independently undertake research in the development of lanthanide-based biosensors for quantum sensing.
• To lead the production of research reports and publications as required by the grantor.
• To assist PI in supervising the students involved in the project.
• To undertake any other duties relevant to the research project.
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline:
1. PhD in materials science, polymer chemistry and engineering, optical physics, or strongly related fields.
2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
3. Demonstrated a high level of formal written and oral communication skills.
4. Evidence of contributions to research including peer-reviewed publications.
• Skills: NMR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, SEM, XPS, nanoparticle synthesis, optoelectronic characterization, thermo gravity analysis, etc.
• Experience:
1. Proficient in the preparation and characterization of luminescent materials including organic-inorganic hybrid materials and polymer semiconductors.
2. Experienced in the fabrication of nano/micro-optoelectronics.
