RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Operations Manager (OM) is to be responsible for the strategic management of the school environment, including estate, facilities, resources (inventories/supplies) and processes, to achieve school's objectives as well as day-to-day operations. The OM also plays a key role in school safety and security, overseeing risk-management, health matters and emergency preparedness processes.

As part of the management team, the OM will also contribute towards organizational decision-making and participate in general executive and non-executive functions that the team undertakes. The role will also include the reviewing and enhancement of systems by harnessing technology to improve productivity and efficiency.

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information System;
• Sound knowledge of Financial Markets products;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in FX trading systems;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in providing L2 / L3 support;
• Experience in trading analytics application will be an added advantage;
• Possess experience in UNIX Shell / Perl Scripting, RDMS, and SQL;
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Effective communicator, with the ability to communicate with business users;
• Independent, proactive and demonstrate 'can-do' mentality;
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results;
• Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.

Desired Skill-set

• ITIL Certified;
• Knowledge / experience with KDB+ time series database and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing L2 / L3 support for eFX and related trading applications;
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot and analyze on the root cause analysis;
• Collaborate closely with other internal technical / business teams to implement permanent solution;
• Follow escalation procedures during outages;
• Write SQL scripts and suggest automation to improve efficiency / effectiveness of support team;
• Adhere to change management requirements for application and system implementations.
