Primary Function of Position

We are seeking a communications expert to lead the development and execution of internal and external executive communications initiatives for key business priorities in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This includes acting as a strategist and trusted advisor to senior executives, developing executive narratives, presentations, and strategic communications plans that resonate across diverse internal and external audiences.

This role requires a unique blend of high-level strategy and hands-on execution, and the ability to work within a highly collaborative international communications team, reporting to a U.S.-based director. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, a strategic orientation, excellent organization and presentation skills, a bias toward action, and a desire to learn continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic communications planning: Create, nurture, and execute a proactive, integrated internal and external executive communication support model, strategy, and roadmap that reflects the priorities for the region and builds effective connections with key audiences.
• Executive messaging and presentation development: Collaborate closely with senior executives to create executive narratives and presentations that reflect their voice and vision. Develop content for internal and external platforms such as all-hands meetings, email announcements, and customer events. Provide coaching to help executives deliver compelling presentations.
• Project management and tactical execution: Lead the execution of employee communication initiatives, overseeing end-to-end project management, from planning and content development to measurement. Ensure flawless execution across multiple platforms, managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams.
• Storytelling and content creation: Craft written, oral, and digital content that resonates with internal and external audiences. Own the content development process for presentations, event briefings, scripts, talking points, organizational announcements, intranet articles, employee stories, and customer testimonials.
• Event coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute internal meetings and events, including agenda creation, presentation management, and Q&A facilitation.
• Regional expertise and collaboration: Serve as the communications expert for the APAC region. Occasional partnership with global communications and people brand teams to leverage shared content, and adapt and amplify significant key messages in-region; light support with regional alignment to employee value proposition (EVP).
• Localization and translation: Localize corporate communications for APAC audiences, managing translations into Mandarin, Japanese, or other relevant languages to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Measurement and impact analysis: Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data-driven insights to optimize future initiatives and demonstrate their impact on business goals. Track and measure executive communication activities for the region.

Expectations of a Talent Acquisition Partner

• Input into overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals
• Manage key brands within Publicis Communications
• Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
• Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives and Talent Mapping
• Ensuring the ATS is updated daily to ensure an effective talent pipeline and data accuracy
• Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience
• Keep abreast of and analyze market and sector developments to ensure personal business and specialist technical knowledge is updated and to support the provision of consultative service and market intelligence to clients
• Form close relationships with hiring managers & senior stakeholders to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
• Initiate a range of sourcing activities, such as publishing vacancies, networking and conducting referrals, to ensure a regular supply of candidates that meet client's current and future demands
• Develop and manage the recruitment process for internal clients through sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates, briefing and preparing candidates, organizing interviews and negotiating remuneration packages to ensure needs and expectations are met in a timely manner
• Provide advice to key stakeholders and candidates on salary levels, benchmarks, training requirements and career progression opportunities to facilitate the recruitment process
• Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment, with multiple brands, diverse product lines and senior stakeholders
• Review and improve recruitment methods to ensure selection techniques and recruitment programs are effective
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of their current and future priorities
• Maintain regular contact and reviews with the stakeholders
• Complete and update client and candidate details in administration systems to support effective management information reporting
• Participate in regular meetings with the team and the manager to maximize synergies, discuss market developments, to share experience and knowledge

You will primarily be:

• Responsible for the deployment, and support of ad server tagging delivery through work tickets on JIRA for the TAAG (Technology And Activation Group) Team.
• Supporting our regional data operations team, and platform experts to deploy brand safety solutions for our media where applicable teams across clients in Asia-Pacific.
• Monitor ad server delivery to ensure that ad serving is within norms and no abnormal ad delivery.
• Assisting in taxonomy data governance for various clients across the region.

As part of Raffles Hotel Singapore’s Leadership Development Programme, the Food and Beverage Management Trainee will gain practical experience and knowledge through a structured 18-months programme. The programme will involve a rotation across various restaurant concepts and supporting departments, which will be customised based on operations’ and trainee’s expectations and requirements. To complement their learning and assimilation into a leadership role, the management trainee may be involved in special projects as assigned by F&B leaders, and mentored by a senior leader of the hotel.

Primary Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Service

• Provides excellent service at all times to all of our guests based on established hotel standard operating procedures.
• Is always well presented and adheres to hotel’s grooming standard.
• Greets and farewells guests and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assists colleagues and guests efficiently and in a professional manner.
• Takes responsibility for residents’ and guest belongings in the restaurant or bars.
• Has extensive knowledge of our food & beverage menus in order to service our product, including liquors and cocktails.
• Undertakes F&B special projects as directed by F&B leaders and/or mentor.  

Provide a leading and consistent guest experience

• Promotes sales through direct guests’ contact.
• Constantly obtains guest feedback during operation ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handles minor complaints and reports to the managers for proper follow up.
• Builds strong relationships with local guests and builds loyal following as foundation for a successful operation.
• Maintains levels of confidentiality and discretion of the guest, colleagues, operator at all times.

Management and Leadership

• Is a role model for the Food & Beverage Associates.
• Proactive, innovative with in depth Food & Beverage and market knowledge.
• Observes colleague’s individual performances, grooming, and punctuality and communicates with the managers accordingly.
• Provides a high level of Safety and Security for guests and colleagues.
• Checks daily opening and closing duties.

Training, learning and development of the team

• Completes all components of the Raffles Leadership Development programme.
• Conducts regular on the job trainings for colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Assists in recording and submitting monthly On-the-Job Training hours to Food & Beverage Office before the 15th of each month.
• Guides the departmental orientation for new hires.
• Ensures that colleagues are aware of hotel rules and regulations.
• Ensures that colleagues are trained on fire and safety, emergency procedures and hygiene.
