Civil site engineer

Responsibilities

- Reporting to Civil Manager

- Responsible for the civil construction of the power plant station

- Plan and prepare station requirements (Subcon, suppliers, materials, equipment) based on the baseline program and work with the technical/contracts department to finalize and submit for approval

• Reports Construction Manager
• To assist in site supervision works
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Coordinating for the project planning, documentation and execution of works on site
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with the contractor, suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
• Coordinate for all submission
• Produce weekly site progress report and necessary submission
• Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance to meet authority requirements.
• To take on PE Assignee Supervision Role

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Independent with good communication skill
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Effective communication and coordination skills and team work
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period will have added advantage
• RE Registration with IES of Singapore

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify project design hazards, construction risks, and constructability issues.
• Develop corresponding mitigation measures together with the project team.
• Chair regular risk mitigation meetings and training with clients and internal parties.
• Advise management on alternative safer and higher productivity construction methodologies.
• Review method statements and risk assessments for safety and construction compliance.
• Attend meetings related to construction progress, risks, etc.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Managements.

Job Requirements:

• Have reasonable exposure in safety and health for construction especially on transportation infrastructure projects in a similar nature
• Attended the Design for Safety (DfS) for Professional Course and passed the assessment or equivalent.
• A registered PE or Architect with a Practicing Certificate OR
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the design and the supervision of the construction of structures with at least 5 years in design which includes contributions to designs and writing specification
• Have a degree accepted by PE Board or Board of Architect and construction related degree accepted by Singapore Institute of Surveyors (SISV) and Society of Project Managers (SPM)
• Possess excellent leadership, planning, good management skills, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
• Have experience in LTA projects have an advantage

Job Description

• Perform Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions, including data entry into the systems
• Check staff reimbursements, project petty cash claims and adhoc payments
• Ensure accurate project costing updates, verify interim valuation certificates, and allocate staff costs effectively within projects.
• Update related party transactions / balances
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain full set of accounts and manage all financial and accounting transactions.
• Timely production of monthly management reporting package, including financial statements and relevant schedules.
• Prepare cash flow forecast, bank reconciliation and cash monitoring.
• Prepare quarterly GST reporting, reconciliation report and tax computation
• Involve in budgetary control, forecasting and other management accounting functions
• Assists in year-end audit.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or related roles.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with a positive learning attitude, able to work independently and proactively within a team
• Experience in project management will be an added advantage.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve professional skills

• Meticulous and adept in working under pressure and tight timelines
• Hands-on bookkeeping is preferred.

Job Descriptions

• Responsible for setup and configuration of the P&ID database and provides support during the design and construction of MEICA elements.
• Set up, oversee, update and manage the CDE, BIM Software, project specific templates and BIM Elements library used in the project.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of related BIM technologies for creation of BIM deliverables.
• Verify and rectify all database related challenges and issues in the project.

Requirements

• Must possess at least Degree/Diploma in Engineering with relevant working experience in Construction industry.
• Proficient in Bentley Open Plant P&ID, OpenPlant Modeller, OpenBuildings Designer & Microstation
• Have about 5 years’ experience in BIM database management.
• Familiar with code requirements and BIM submission standards.
