• Involved in large projects ranging from commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, healthcare and etc.
• Coordinate and carry out tender, evaluation, recommendation and award processes.
• Confidently administer the contract and effectively manage the project team and Consultants for best results.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical coordination, site and/or authorities compliance problems.
• Well versed with planning, codes and building regulations and be updated on contractual and authorities’ requirements.
• Strong design portfolio exhibiting a range of sustainable design project experience.

Requirements

• Architectural masters/degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of post graduate architectural experience.

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of M&E systems in our construction projects, ensuring all works are executed to the highest standards and comply with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:
• Develop and review M&E designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for M&E systems.

Project Management:

• Manage and oversee M&E installations and ensure that all works are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of M&E components.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and testing of M&E installations to ensure quality and performance.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies promptly.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and contractors.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E Engineering within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in managing M&E systems in construction projects.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage but not mandatory.
