RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
• Provide secretariat support to the Technical Committees and Working Groups. This includes preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, report compilation, drafting of standards, etc.
• Engage and coordinate with the industry, academia, and government organizations to facilitate the development, promotion, and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
• Organizing key standard launches events and other outreach events.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and launch new standards. This includes conducting consultations and ensuring that standards are aligned with industry needs.
• Assist in the industry and technical research for the development of new/review of standards. Conduct verification studies to identify users of the standards.
• Handle inquiries regarding standards in your area of responsibility, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification in quality and safety / Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
• Preferably with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in safety or manufacturing related field
• Preferably with secretariat experience
• Min. 3 years of experience in quality, safety or manufacturing industry is advantageous
• Results-oriented and able to manage and execute projects in a team and independently.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and work well with various stakeholders
• Good writing and communication skills.

Our client, a well-known A1 Main Contractor in the construction industry, is looking for talent as a Senior Architectural Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Involve and lead in checking and coordinating shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist Subcontractors' works).
• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications. Ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements, building codes, and regulatory standards.
• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants. Maintain project timelines, making sure that all drawings and documentation are delivered on schedule.
• Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings.
• Liaise and coordinate with working partners, consultants, authorities and subcontractors during the construction phase. Attend project meetings and communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure drawing requirements are understood and met.
• Perform quality checks on architectural and structural drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Rectify any technical and coordination issue surface within the Project team and any related working partners.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members, assisting in the resolution of complex drawing issues. Track and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to drawing coordination.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Well-versed in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/Structural/MEP.
• Able to coordinate & check Architectural, M&E, and Structural workshop drawings.
• Conversant with architectural trades.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and clients.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues and provide solutions.
