Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Sourcing Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring the smooth flow of supply chain operations. This role requires a strong ability to negotiate, analyze supply-related issues, and assess supplier performance to contribute to cost-effective sourcing strategies and the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Job Description
- Supply Chain Strategy & Sourcing: Explore, evaluate, and recommend alternative suppliers and sources to identify new supply opportunities, ensuring a continuous and cost-effective supply chain.
- Issue Resolution & Risk Management: Collect and analyze data on supply-related issues, such as delays, emergencies, or shortages, and collaborate with suppliers to define and implement effective solutions. Conduct supplier risk assessments to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Negotiate, draft, and maintain contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Facilitate clear and ongoing communication to ensure the efficient execution of contract clauses.
- Supplier Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency. Use evaluation data to drive improvements in supplier relationships and service delivery.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed sourcing and supplier performance reports to senior management and cross-functional teams, providing insights into supply chain performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Quotation Analysis & Approval: Screen and analyze supplier quotations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Present findings for management approval prior to procurement decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
- 5 years of proven experience in sourcing with a strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, ERP/MRP software, and digital sourcing tools to manage and streamline sourcing activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with external suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
- Resourceful, self-driven, and proactive with the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP/MRP systems to manage procurement data and reporting., PowerPoint) and ERP / MRP.
