Visiting Professor Position in Physics

The Visiting Professor will collaborate with PAP colleagues to work in the area of optoelectronic materials and devices, including the fabrication and characterization of low-dimensional materials and micro/nano lasers. He/she will engage in collaborative research at the program level (e.g., NRF-CRP) with PAP colleagues, mentor PhD students and research fellows, and contribute to the development of major research grant proposals (e.g., MOE AcRF Tier 3, NRF-CRP). Additionally, the Visiting Professor will explore interdisciplinary collaborations with colleagues from other Schools within NTU.
The candidate should have at least 20 years of experience in experimental research on optoelectronics and optical spectroscopy, along with expertise in designing and fabricating micro/nano lasers using cutting-edge novel gain media. A demonstrated international reputation and a strong track record of securing external research funding are essential.
