Essential Functions

Perform assigned clinical laboratory testing accurately and in a timely manner.

• Properly handle specimens and independently resolve technical specimen issues in preparation for analysis and specimen storage. Contact internal customers for clarification as needed.
• Ensures maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed according to manufacturer and SOP requirements, and documented according to SOP
• Operate instruments to perform testing in accordance with established written procedures.
• Resolve routine and non-routine assay problems.

Ensure the validity of tests results through the performance of established quality assurance and quality control procedures

Training

• Individual is responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file and is accountable for correcting and deficiencies found in his/her training file.
• Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task.

Work to achieve partnership with both internal customers and external clients

• Researches and prepares a response following investigation for quality purposes. Coordinate, where needed, with other resources to resolve issue.
• Research and responds in a timely manner to internal customer inquiries regarding status of test results, retrieval of samples for testing/storage and other needs.
• Understand department metrics and goals.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical or biological science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a clinical histology laboratory will be preferred.
• Good analytical skills with attention to details.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player with initiative and adaptive to changes
• Good planning and organizing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in CDx (companion diagnostics) would be advantageous.

To supervise, execute and monitor the activities of manufacture floor to ensure reliable and optimal operation of processes, equipment, utility and facility so as to achieve target production levels within the framework.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures and operation condition sheet.

· Identifying, analyzing, trouble shooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utilities consumption.

· Perform trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment.

· Optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization and energy conservation with feasibility study, make the necessary field test to verify the result.

· Provide technical support and documentation for manufacturing process, including corrective measure for customer complaint in technical viewpoint

· Ensure availability of equipment, tools, production consumables, transfer of input materials for daily production preparation and follow up on ensuring housekeeping of production floor.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on Process, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in a process engineering or validation role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in process validation methodologies and techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and act on data
• Must be able to write and communication in Mandarin and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing industry
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Willing to work in Jurong
