Role Purpose:

As the Access & Policy Leader Diabetes Care & Near Patient Care, APAC, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional integrated access and policy strategies that demonstrates the value of our diagnostics solutions and its impact to the healthcare system. Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator (Assoc. Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in hospital to smooth the process of recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

HYCOMBS Project is looking for a Research Fellow : Experimental study of ammonia medium-duty engine : effect of H2 blending versus diesel pilot ignition (HYCOMBS Project)

HYCOMBS PROJECT

HYCOMBS: Hydrogen and Ammonia Combustion in Singapore

In the future, Singapore may be importing renewable energy in the form of hydrogen (H2) or ammonia (NH3). These zero-carbon fuels will require the development of new gas turbines (GTs) and internal combustion engines (ICE) used in power generation, aviation, and maritime propulsion.

This project focuses on the combustion fundamentals of hydrogen, ammonia, their blends, and their blends with hydrocarbon fuels. The knowledge acquired in HYCOMBS will enable the penetration of zero-carbon fuels in the Singapore energy system and this will benefit Singaporean industries and residents.

DESCRIPTION

In the WP4 of HYCOMBS project, the objective is to improve the combustion process in medium-duty engine. Retrofit engine in order to fill with ammonia requires some small changes, mainly relative to its auto-ignition characteristics. If the compression ratio is not higher than 20, to reach compression ignition more reactive species are needed as the pilot injection of diesel (Advanced Compression Ignition Engine) or to add a spark plug (Si engine with diesel flow field). Up today, even if the number of works on Ammonia engine increase (80 papers in 2024) it is evident that the processes are not sufficiently characterized to develop accurate tools to predict these combustion development [1], [2], [3].

The objective of this post-doc position is first to provide accurate experimental data base highly resolved in space and time to study the fundamental of combustion using NH3, blended with H2 or Diesel type fuel to help CFD model development. This will be done in an optical combustion chamber in Singapore. Second, experimental engine tests will be done in light duty and medium duty to evaluate the scale change and as a function of the 2 ignition strategies. Combustion specifications, performances and pollutant emissions with a special attention of the NOx emissions will be characterized and analyzed. This will be done in collaboration with NTU team.

• Provide administrative support to the Managing Director.

About the Role

As the Head of Data Strategy & Management, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the digital and data strategic direction, operational excellence, and innovation initiatives within the Asia Development organization. You will lead a team responsible for overseeing the collection, integration, and analysis of clinical trial data while championing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and bringing innovation to data management practices. Your efforts will transform business processes and upgrade digital fluency, including AI/ML, across Asia Development to accelerate simultaneous development and disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent is accountable for providing strategic vision and leadership for Clinical Data Management, AI/ML, and R&D Tech functions, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Develop and execute a roadmap for data management and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure efficient and high-quality execution of clinical data management activities.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data management processes, SOPs, and best practices.
• Lead and manage a team of data scientists, technical experts, and digital transformation leads.
• Oversee end-to-end management of clinical trial data.
• Spearhead efforts to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative digital technologies.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data management and digital transformation activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, data privacy regulations, and AI governance.
• Drive third-party strategy and oversee relationships with external vendors and CROs.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians to support data analysis and reporting activities.

• Check and plan daily outing schedule or route every morning when reporting to work.
• Ensure where possible that the School vehicle runs according to timetable for each pick-up and drop-off.
• Ensure all students are wheeled and/or seated and have seat belts on.
• Remain in the bus until all students have alighted.
• Consult with the officer-in-charge on duties required after each school drop off for despatch and delivery (on rotation).
• Ensure that the cash card value is sufficient for use.
  Assist to maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the school van twice a week.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent service to the students and staff
• To report any accidents, damage or maintenance needed to the officer-in-charge as soon as possible.
• Provide handy work such as minor repairs for furniture, doors, simple plumbing works etc.
• Maintain cleanliness in the general office, assist with uniform stock taking, proper disposal of old documents. Assist with half yearly disposal of broken furniture/computers, etc.

16 Lock “Entrance” & “Exit” gates as instructed by Nurse on-duty.

18 Help in kitchen – i.e. wash all dishes, help to cut food into pieces etc and any other tasks assigned by the Kitchen Operation Supervisor.

19 Any other duties as assigned by the Nursing Officers.
