We seek a talented and motivated Project Specialist with a background in the electrical or mechanical field, either as an Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or Polytechnic graduate. The ideal candidate will possess basic project management skills, familiarity with project management tools, and preferably have experience in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sector. Effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, and internal communications within the WaveScan team is essential. The role also requires the ability to perform occasional engineering and troubleshooting work. As a Field Project Specialist, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, overseeing the deployment of our technology, ensuring customer satisfaction across projects of varying scales, and operating our equipment on job sites. Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Assist in the planning, executing, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to set project goals and objectives.
2. Familiarity with Project Management Tools:
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and report project status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
3. NDT Sector Experience:
- Apply knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) principles and techniques to support project requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of NDT procedures.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and the WaveScan team to clearly understand project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns promptly.
5. Occasional Engineering and Troubleshooting:
- Perform occasional engineering tasks related to electrical or mechanical systems as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Higher Nitec, Nitec, or Polytechnic diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic project management skills and familiarity with project management tools.
- Experience in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sector is an advantage.
- Energetic and driven by personal motivation, reliable, and accountable

- Possesses a Class 3 driving license
- Required to undertake international travel for assignments
