Visting Professor: Philosophy

The School of Humanities invites suitable candidates to apply for a Visiting Associate Professor Position in Philosophy. The area of specialization would be in ethics more specifically in metaethics, and epistemology. Candidates must also have a considerable track record of publications.

The successful applicant will be expected teach courses in ethics and participate in the on-going philosophy seminar series in partnership with the Head of Philosophy.

Requirements

Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• PhD in Philosophy
• Strong background in Metaethics and Epistemology
• Good Track record of Research Publications
• Relevant Teaching Experience

• 6 months contract
• Biotechnology exposure
• No experience required, Immediate hire
• Cleanroom environment

Working hours:

Shift 1: 655am to 305pm

Shift 2: 255pm to 1105pm

Basic $2,500 + $110 Transport allowance + Shift allowance

Job scope:

• Assembly of medical device using microscope in a cleanroom environment

Requirement:

• Immediate starter
• Able to commit 6 months contract
• Singaporean only
