Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Python Developer with expertise in AWS Serverless technologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to join our development team working on Government-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in GCC (Government Cloud Computing), SHIP 2.0, and HATS 2.0 frameworks, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and serverless applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS Serverless technologies.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure robust, maintainable, and bug-free code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API solutions in line with Government IT standards.
• Develop and integrate Government-related development APIs for various services within GCC (Government Cloud Computing) infrastructure.
• Work with SHIP 2.0 and HATS 2.0 frameworks to integrate existing systems and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code for APIs and serverless functions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of APIs and serverless applications.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure adherence to industry best practices in security and scalability.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AWS Serverless technologies, specifically AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS.
• Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD), including experience with frameworks such as JUnit, Mocha, or similar testing frameworks.
• Experience with GCC (Government Cloud Computing) environment and working within Government infrastructure and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with SHIP 2.0 and HATS 2.0 frameworks, including the development and integration of government-related APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or similar languages used in serverless applications.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Onboarding on January 2025

The proposed manpower will be required to operate on-site at the three primary locations, and
may need to make ad hoc trips to other camps as part of work requirements. The scope of work for the
team, but not limited to, is as follows:

• To manage and account common assets and inventory at the three primary locations.
• Activities include the managing of database and process asset/inventory receipts, transfers and disposal via Authorities IT systems.
• To administer the receiving, storage and distribution of assets at storehouse.
• To conduct cyclical stocktake for common assets and assets held within Authority premises.
• To support timely response to employees’ enquiries on logistics matters.
• To assist supervisors with periodic audit checks and preparation of audit reports.
• To meet the quality service standards and customer satisfaction ratings as stipulated by the Authority.

Position Overview

The Lead Automation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of DeltaV automation systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technologies and their application in the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation System Management:Design, develop, and implement DeltaV automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of DeltaV systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximal reliability.
  
• Project Leadership:Lead automation projects from conception through implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  Coordinate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, quality assurance, and IT to ensure seamless integration of DeltaV solutions.
  
• Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all automation systems comply with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, HSA) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  Prepare and maintain documentation for validation and compliance audits.
  
• Technical Expertise:Stay updated with the latest advancements in DeltaV and other automation technologies and their applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
  Provide technical guidance and training to the engineering team and production staff.

Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  Proven experience in designing and managing DeltaV automation systems in a GMP-regulated environment.
