• Take lead and manage the cabling and rack design for our investment bank client's data center portfolio in Hong Kong. Work closely with global infrastructure cabling engineering team on the detailed design.

Job Summary

The job holder (2-Year Contract) supports the Future Ready department in its efforts to help youth in post-secondary education become resilient and future-ready. The job holder is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the department’s mentoring programmes and initiatives and supports the Youth Mentoring Office to achieve the outcomes of FA3.

The job holder is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and may be required to work over weekends, weeknights and public holidays to support organisation events. Although the jobholder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel where necessary for meetings and activities.

Key Responsibility Areas

Strategic and Partnership Management

• Keep abreast of education and youth issues and trends in the community.

Programme Development and Management

• Plan and implement mentoring programmes for secondary and tertiary students.
• Manage databases of mentors and mentees enrolled on the programmes.
• Lead the organisation of resources, manpower and collaterals for the successful delivery of programmes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programmes through the collection and analysis of feedback.
• Conduct reviews of programmes and recommend areas of improvement or adaptation to suit the needs of youth.

Financial Planning and Management

• Assist in the department’s forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Implement budget plans to manage resource allocations to the department’s programmes.
• Monitor budget outcomes to ensure proper utilisation and accounting of resources.

Administrative

• Update and generate departmental progress reports for updates to the management.

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of experience in programme management or youth engagement preferred. Senior EO role can be considered for candidates with longer work experience.
• A diploma in relevant fields is preferred.

The Manager/Senior Manager (2 year contract) supports Engagement Group’s Director/Deputy Director to spearhead Yayasan MENDAKI's (MENDAKI)’s push towards last-mile service delivery to better meet the needs of the Malay/Muslim community. MENDAKI is embarking on a strategic client-centric initiative to achieve the next bound of service delivery, by proactively reaching out to families to understand their needs, care for them, and partner with them in their journey of lifelong learning.

Key Responsibility Areas
Outreach

Develop and implement outreach to members of the community, including families who may be in need of services, to stakeholders/partners.

1. Identify partners/stakeholders and various segments of the community for community outreach efforts and engagement.
2. Identify strategies of outreach engagement to effectively reach out to different segments of the community
3. Plan, deploy and assess outreach efforts within the satellite centres under his/her charge.

Care

Supervise and guide the team in the conduct of care management of families, through the completion of holistic assessments of the family’s needs and delivery of targeted interventions.

1. Facilitate case discussion platforms and supervise staff in conducting holistic assessments of clients and their family members, identifying areas of needs and intervention.
2. Guide staff in partnering with the client in problem-solving and developing care plans to meet his/her needs.
3. Coach staff in identifying and implementing suitable interventions (in collaboration with other agencies known to the family, where available) to meet the needs of clients.
4. Direct staff to potential resources that could be tapped on for client’s needs.
5. Identify and curate new resources that could help serve the needs of clients.
6. Advocate for clients at both the individual and macro level.
7. Provide casework supervision to staff to ensure that their casework is meeting the needs of the clients and the staff’s mental and psychological well-being is supported.

Stakeholder Management

Develop and foster good working relationships with partners/ stakeholders. This includes M3 partners of MUIS and MESRA, as well as government and social service agencies.

1. Develop a framework of collaboration with partners/ stakeholders in client engagement, referrals and/or co-management of cases.
2. Develop good networks with partners and stakeholders, in order to build collaborative partnerships in meeting needs of clients.

Leadership

Lead the team in the satellite centre/youth space.

1. Develop the team in the centres under his/her charge to achieve its full potential, including coaching them on the necessary skills in support of their personal and professional development.
2. Provide a conducive and dynamic environment for the team under his/her charge.
3. Manage the resources of the team, including workforce planning and finances.
4. Work closely with the Human Resource team to build the competencies of staff under his/her charge in the satellite centres.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work/ Psychology or other related degrees. Minimum 5 years of experience in case management, community outreach and/or partnership management. Knowledge of the social service sector is a benefit.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership capacity.

Job Summary

The Jobholder leads the Team’s efforts in engaging primary- and secondary-age students and providing education assistance. The job holder (2 years contract) is responsible for strategising and conceptualising plans and programmes to engage the Team’s target audience through the various District Officers (DOs). The jobholder supports the organisation in a range of communication activities such as media relations, event staffing, marketing and projects. The jobholder must be comfortable in providing communication consult, lead media relations, and publicity efforts for events.

The jobholder must ensure consistent messaging and communication of MENDAKI’s image and position to internal and external stakeholders. This includes crafting communication materials, pitching human-interest stories and profiles as well as to facilitate media queries.

Lastly, the jobholder must manage interview requests and provide staffing for spokesperson(s) including but not limited to political office holders, members of parliament, MENDAKI leadership team, beneficiaries, volunteers and participants.

• This includes but not limited to develop media angle, key messages/narratives, draft communication materials such as media release and information sheet, as well as to facilitate interviews, and track coverage
