Job Description

- Collect EDI requirements from Business & advise them during the requirement phase

- Provide expertise during the scoping phase, review and validate EDI Specifications

- Work with Stakeholders (Internal teams and vendors) and drive EDI partner onboarding & enhancements, closely monitor the progress

timely status update and on-boarding/enhancement progress to business team.

- Participate in testing phase and assist business during UAT.

- Take lead on critical incidents and coordinate the investigations.

- Monitor the performance of the system and lead, action plans when it needs to be improved.

Requirements

- A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related discipline from a reputable education institute.

- With round 5-7 years of supporting time-critical EDI applications, preferably in the shipping & logistics domain.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. The Construction Manager shall play a key role in the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
2. He/She will be required to plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control

6. Ensure to exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards
7. To maintain close collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all stakeholders to minimise errors in the process to achieve smooth completion of projects
8. To liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities compliance issue
9. To provide evaluation/findings and project results to HQ Tokyo in Japan on a frequent basis

Requirements:

• Minimun 10 years of relevant working experience within the Construction industry
• Should possess a minimum qualification of Degree/Masters in Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualification
• Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently
• Able to work under stress and complete tasks within set deadlines
• Fluency in spoken and written Japanese would be advantageous as the incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate with Japan Head Office
