• Ability to guide engineers to design systems in addition to guidance available from architecture team in terms of technical direction of solution to be implemented.
• Review test strategy and test cases meant for functionally testing features end-to-end, to ensure optimum quality of solutions.
• Be able to review and recommend as needed any open-source / commercial tools that the team is considering for an engineering solution.
• Stay on top of test automation being carried out for functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, bug tracking etc. and provide input as needed to improve quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan timely and smooth releases of features into Sandbox and Production environments. Remove obstacles that impede work processes.
• Help plan team backlog work and oversee adherence to Agile / Scrum process every sprint. Unblock them on different aspects as needed to help make progress.
• Be prepared to play an active Scrum Master role for the Scrum Teams and be responsible for adherence to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) best practices followed across DPS One. Specifically, take on the responsibility to help plan and co-ordinate Planning Interval (PI) activities every quarter, system demo, oversee sprint activities, manage any scope change with product and architecture stakeholders, upkeep of JIRA Align and JIRA hygiene, and so on.
• Working closely with peer people leaders within the ART to support the teams’ overall charter in a holistic way and be open to matrix management model across all team members (not just direct reports) if needed to support any project.
• Becoming the bridge / core contact point for Product, Architect, PMO, Dev & QA along with all other potential stakeholders in the pipeline for all past, on-going, and upcoming projects / features is a major responsibility for this role.
• Building relationships across different Visa teams and actively working with all stakeholders to create win-win scenarios for all concerned to collectively make progress towards Visa’s common business goal will be another major responsibility for this role.

MicroStrategy is seeking an Account Executive to drive strategic sales into enterprise accounts within his/her assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new logo business into prospects and installed accounts. This is a new business hunter and individual contributor role with quota carrying responsibility. Whilst the focus is on new business development, there will be a split of approximately 70% new logo business together with 30% account development for existing customers.

Your Focus

• Drive complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles and effectively present MicroStrategy’s value proposition to both C-level business and IT stakeholders through strategic value-led engagements
• Prospect, develop and close new business while creating satisfied and referenceable customers
• Research the customer environment to create effective business impact models, account plans and win plans; and create business cases, ROI and TCO models
• Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account care, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales (Inside Sales, Sales Engineering), Marketing and Professional Services
• Work strategically with Inside Sales to develop a territory and target account plan to create a healthy pipeline that will yield overachievement in booking targets
• Manage an individual sales pipeline to ensure an appropriate mix of prospects, new business opportunities and firm proposals
• Balance long-term objectives with short term results to maximise overall revenue generation
• Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned territory
• Acquire and maintain a thorough working knowledge of MicroStrategy’s Business Intelligence software products and services and a deep understanding of their applications
• Position MicroStrategy’s solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, return on investment analysis, customer references and analyst data

• Travel arrangements for the team
• Ensure that all database and records (contacts distribution list, SOP, etc.) are maintained and updated in a timely manner
