We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Endpoint Protection) to join us!

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Lead implementation of enterprise security infrastructures which includes Contractor management, design validation and test acceptance.
• Perform maintenance on the enterprise security infrastructures that covers service and security posture upkeep.       
• Plan, develop and maintain endpoint security policies in Endpoint Protection system to detect non-compliance or security threats through monitoring.
• Escalate security incident alert to respective system owner and assist in containment and recovery from the security incident.
• Plan and participate in areas of security operations to ensure that processes meet defined information security policies and standards, and evolving security threats.
• Implement Endpoint Protection Security System.
• Implement other Security products such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (NIPS).

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 3 years of experience in implementing and/or managing EPP system
• Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows
• PowerShell scripting is an advantage
• EPP product certification such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee ePO, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an advantage
• Security Certifications such as GISA, GSEC, CISSP, CISM is an advantage
• Possess the following soft skills and attributes:
• Ability to justify new initiatives and recommend new initiatives to stakeholder(s)
• Conceptualise the Concept of Operations for the new initiatives
• Familiar with tendering process, defining requirements in tender specification
• Team player and able to lead discussions between internal teams (Operations, Security, Contract) and external product principals or system integrator
• Requires minimal supervision from supervisor
• Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to present and communicate effectively with non-technical audience.
• Able to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and planning skills

About the Role

The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia-Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams.

Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer-reviewed publications. These deliverables are used directly by our clients in communication with external stakeholders instrumental to the successful uptake of novel therapies. The work is structured on a project-by-project basis and you will usually be working on several projects in different disease areas at any one time.

You will work in project teams alongside experienced colleagues in both the Singapore UK and US offices who provide one-to-one training in the technical aspects of the role, including project management and effective client communication. Delivering project work requires close collaboration with clients and, following a successful induction period, you will increasingly engage in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.

Positions are available for those looking for an entry-level role as well as those with some prior experience. We are looking for ambitious individuals with the potential to progress rapidly into more senior roles involving greater project management and client responsibility. Costello Medical is structured into divisional teams focusing on distinct services within the healthcare industry. Our Singapore office is structured around three teams who focus on Medical Communications, Evidence Development, and Market Access. The role is for a new hire who is likely to primarily work within the Evidence Development division but would also work cross-divisionally for a part of their time with other divisions, according to business need.

• Medical Communications: Medical communications provide the scientific bridge between clinical development and commercial functions in pharmaceutical and device companies. Most activities have a strong patient and/or healthcare professional (HCP) focus, and act to educate and inform clinical decision making and patient care, or to gather insights that inform a product’s clinical development. These projects require the ability to work closely with clients and prominent HCPs to deliver high quality writing that is scientifically rigorous, patient focused, and in line with the strategic positioning of the pharmaceutical or medical devices products. Working in medical communications at Costello Medical requires excellent project management skills, constant dedication to customer service and the development of strong relationships with clients, academics, and HCPs in the APAC region and globally.
  
  It is possible to work within our medical communications service offering as an Analyst or Medical Writer, with both roles sharing the same level of responsibility. Medical Writers specialise in the strategic planning and development of publications, which include abstracts, posters, oral presentations and manuscripts targeted at scientific journals and conferences. Analysts work across a variety of medical affairs projects and specialise in services such as advisory boards, and the development and multi-channel communication of educational scientific content for a wide range of audiences. The most relevant job title will be discussed with you during the application process.
  
  
• Market Access: Market access supports timely patient access to drugs and devices, involving the assessment of clinical efficacy and safety alongside costs to determine the value of a therapy within a specific disease area. Market access activities are targeted at a wide range of stakeholders who are instrumental to the successful funding and uptake of novel therapies, such as government bodies, payers, health technology appraisal (HTA) agencies, HCPs, and patients. Our Market Access team supports a wide range of clients in producing materials to demonstrate both the clinical and economic value of some of the newest, most innovative technologies in development. Our work is multidisciplinary, often beginning with evidence generation in the form of literature reviews, advisory boards with clinicians and payers, or economic modelling, to inform the development of materials that present an evidence-based account of the product’s value in a compelling and accessible manner.
  Analysts working across our Market Access services support a diverse range of value and access, HTA and health economics projects. These include developing product value messages and materials (e.g. brochures, slidesets, white papers, etc.), building health economic tools and models, and developing dossiers for submission to HTA agencies. A role in the Market Access division suits those who are passionate about patient access to healthcare, are fast-learners and have a strategic, problem-solving mindset. Exceptional writing skills are also essential, especially the ability to summarise complex data in a clear and creative way with high levels of attention to detail.
  
  
• Evidence Development: Evidence-based medicine is the cornerstone of medical decision-making. The work of our Evidence Development team encompasses literature reviews, synthesis and real-world evidence generation.
  
  Our literature review and synthesis projects involve the identification of clinical, economic and real-world evidence to support the value of a pharmaceutical product or medical device. Our work includes rigorous systematic literature reviews that our Statisticians often use to conduct meta-analyses and network meta-analyses, therefore Analysts in this team work together with our Statisticians to provide seamless scientific and technical support to our clients. We also work on more creative and pragmatic evidence reviews to inform clients’ strategic decisions with regard to clinical development or market access. You will gain a thorough understanding of how to conduct various kinds of evidence review from searching to interpretation of statistical results and ensuring that the reviews conform to industry guidelines where applicable. You will also be involved in writing up the methods and results of the reviews and statistical analyses into engaging reports, slide sets and often congress/journal publications.
  
  Our real-world evidence projects include the design, execution and subsequent reporting of prospective, retrospective or cross-sectional real-world studies. We develop protocols and statistical analysis plans (in collaboration with our Statisticians, Epidemiologists, clients and external experts), acquire and analyse data, and communicate the methodologies and results in both written and oral formats.
  
  Analysts in our Evidence Development team are passionate about finding, synthesising and generating evidence, they have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and a talent for communication.

Essential requirements for the role are:

• A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum CAP or GPA 4/5 or equivalent). We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to; biology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine
• Exceptional written and spoken fluency in Korean (equivalent to native Korean language skills) and English in order to deliver client work across Asia, with a focus on Korea

The Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process includes a written assessment for you to complete in your own time. If successful, you will be invited to an interview which will include a short presentation you can prepare for in advance. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 1 month however, this is adapted if necessary.
