Role description:

The HR and Admin Officer will assist in managing office administration tasks and HR matters. This role will support the Admin Assistant in day-to-day office operations while ensuring smooth HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews to identify the best-fit candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, to optimize hiring processes.
• Manage daily HR operations, such as record maintenance and filing.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and induction programs.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general administrative matters.
• Organize training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
• Provide support for employee exit processes and terminations.
• Ensure HR policies and documentation adhere to regional regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist in preparing reports as required.
• Support the finance team with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Support in general office administration to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate office supplies and equipment procurement, maintaining inventory levels.
• Manage office facilities, including handling maintenance requests.

Qualifications & Technical Requirements:

• A minimum diploma in business administration, human resources, or related fields is required.
• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Basic to intermediate understanding of HR processes and administrative duties.

• Select the appropriate welding equipment or methods based on project requirements.
• Set up components for welding in accordance with specifications.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment across various techniques.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws or defects.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a welder.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Proficient in using various welding equipment and techniques (TIG, MMA, etc.).
• Experience with electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to using protective gear (face shield, gloves, etc.).
• Attention to detail and dexterity in welding tasks.
• Professional certification (e.g., AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
