Primary:
· Support audit gap assessment and gap closure in view of Global EHS Corporate Audit.
· Develop, implement and/or review of Site EHS standard operating procedures and inventories.
· Update and review Site EHS Risk Assessments to ensure alignment with on-site practice.
· Review and conduct gap analysis on past audit findings.
· Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are achieved, and that work completed meets the high degree of accuracy and compliance required.
· Provide support in Mock EHS Audits.
· Support manufacturing operation efforts to ensure compliance with global quality standards, when needed.
Job Scope:
· Stay updated of emerging compliance risks and communicate key changes to the impacted audit employees.
· Provide logistical and administrative support in coordinating Global EHS Corporate Audit.
· Develop sharing materials to raise awareness on EHS Compliance Requirements
· Support and coordinate routine EHS activities such as:
o EHS Committee Meetings
o EHS Site Walkdowns
o EHS Awareness Events
o EHS Newsletter
o EHS Continuous Improvement Closures
o Local Regulatory Permit & Licenses
· Support site security matters, if required.
· Work effectively and cooperatively with others; establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate the accomplishment of work objectives.
· Provide honest, accurate feedback to peers and superiors and exchange relevant information openly.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline or Diploma with minimum 3 to 5 years experience
· Knowledgeable on Singapore local regulations associated with Environment, Health and Safety.
· Well-versed in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· With problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
· Good team player with initiative.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and stay focused effectively.
· 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in an Operation and/or EHS capacity in a large-scale manufacturing operation or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
· Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Singapore Ministry of Manpower is a bonus
Additional Information:
· Salary – Up to S$5500 per month
· Contract duration: 12-month contract
· Commencement Date: Immediate
· Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
· Location: Tuas Plant, pick up available
