Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Science, Embryology, or a related field with specialized expertise in embryology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wet lab research, with a proven track record in experimental design and execution.
• Proficiency in embryology techniques is advantageous, especially: (a) Interspecies somatic cell nuclear transfer (iSCNT) between wild and domestic species (b) Interspecies fertilization through in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
• Ability to work independently, with a high level of motivation, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning new skills and methodologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Liaison between clients, overseas office/agents, sub-contractors, carriers/co-loaders and internal departments to ensure smooth handling of shipments;
• Managing and coordinating Sea Import/Export shipments including ISO Tanks;
• Arranging & creation of booking in the system, checking & confirming of schedule availability once received from customers;
• Coordinating and resolve shipment issues;
• Timely preparation of documentation (S/I, BL, Invoice, Packing List, Permits & Pre-alert) to customers, carriers/co-loaders, transport team, warehouse team & overseas offices;
• Ensure information are updated in internal systems correctly & timely;
• Follow up with customers, warehouse & oversea offices on any short-landed, over-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo;
• Cost verification;
• Updating of customers’ shipment monitoring sheet if required;
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior.

Customer support is seeking a field service engineer for supporting our regional as well as worldwide customers. The ideal candidate is one having experience on both Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS) as well as propulsion/steering control systems. Hands-on service or operational experience on the main engine and thrusters is an added advantage.

The role also involves providing the onboard services, commissioning of refit and retrofit projects, remote guidance/product support to our customers as well as being part of a knowledge pool giving backend support for the field service team.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on customer support, commissioning and service on assigned Kongsberg Maritime Merchant & Automation product range
• Cover service activities in South East Asia and maintain good relationship with existing clients
• Workshop test and technical preparations
• Proper preparation and execution of work assigned and ensure performance are met at all times
• Responsible for generation of service reports, update drawings, cable information database and other relevant documents
• Provides remote guidance / product support to customers, commission and project management of refit/retrofit projects and backend support to the service team
• Assist our sales department with technical issues
• Handles pre and post administrative work
• Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electronics /Electrical/ Instrumentation
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of related field experience in Alarm Monitoring and Control System as well as the good knowledge of computer hardware/peripherals and basic software’s
• Experience onboard ship for automation systems (controls and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems and power management
• Relevant working experience in maritime industry
• Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills, result-oriented, self-motivated and the project-management skill
• Meticulous & methodical approach to remote case handling
• Self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems.
• Passion and patience for handling customers – Service oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Able to travel overseas on short notice
• Pay package will be commensurate with experience
